"Rare Mutronics Mutator stereo analog filter. This unit is fully functional and in excellent cosmetic shape. It operates at 240v but a power transformer is included to use at 110v. Great if you are in the UK/Europe or a 240V country but you will have zero problems using it in the USA. Less than 1000 of these classic units made, used by Daft Punk, Radiohead and more. Awesome stereo analog filter for drums, vocals, guitar, synths, or entire tracks. Includes original manual, transformer and power cable..."

"Yesterday was E-day, always inspiring, you met people who are also involved in E-music.
This little idea came up, just a combinated single 8 step and 4 step row off the Doepfer Dark Time. The 4 step row controls the Moog LP bass and the 8 step the Waldorf micro Q and at 2:36 the Roland Juno 106. Additional sounds came from the Korg DS 8/Lamda and the Kawai K1r. For the Moog I used two delay's from the Yamaha E1005 and the Ibanez DM1000 for Waldorf the Alesis Midiverb 3 triplets and also the Ibanez DM1000.
Halfway there are some variations in tone / octave settings (Berlin School style).

I hope your enjoy, and feel free to leave a comment/question

Use a good audio device to listen to it.

BTW, it is Musikmesse time.  The Frankfurt Musikmesse officially starts on Wednesday April 10, but just like NAMM things start trickling in before then.  I added a Musikmesse label to the top right site menu.  It will bring up all posts tagged with the Musikmesse2013 label so you can filter by what's new this year.  For previous years see the other Musikmesse labels in the Labels drop down on the right.

For those aren't familiar with the Musikmesse, in short, it's Europe's equivalent to NAMM.

iMIDI Patchbay for iOS

"iMIDIPatchbay lets you organize your whole MIDI setup from one central point. Do you often divide your keyboard into zones to assign different sounds which eventually come from external sound expanders? You want to integrate your music making apps into your live gear? Well, then iMIDIPatchbay is definitely the right tool for you!

LIST OF FEATURES
- Create split and layer configurations very easily
- Send volume and other control changes (reverb, chorus, pan) to your sound devices
- Send program changes to your sound devices
- Transpose sounds in octave steps
- Filter controller data (sustain, pitch-bend, modulation, expression, aftertouch)
- Store configurations as programs for later recall
- Switch programs of iMIDIPatchbay from another app or MIDI device via program changes
- Switch programs while holding down keys or holding e.g. the sustain pedal without getting stuck notes
- UI which is optimized for live usage

WHAT EXACTLY CAN I DO WITH iMIDIPatchbay?
As a keyboard player, you most probably know about splitting and layering sounds. While this can be done relatively easy on professional keyboards, it becomes more complex if your gear consists of multiple keyboards and sound expanders. iMIDIPatchbay makes building such configurations a lot easier than it has ever been before.

After connecting your keyboard and other MIDI devices to the iPad, you can easily create split zones and assign sounds of your MIDI devices to them. It's also possible to route the MIDI data to other apps if they have a virtual MIDI port. Furthermore, you can filter out controllers which is great if you want e.g. pitch bend or sustain to affect only a subset of the active sounds.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?
You need a CoreMIDI interface to connect your keyboards and sound expanders to the iPad.

WHERE CAN I LEARN MORE?
Go to iMIDIPatchbay's website in order to find a more detailed description of the app. If you encounter problems, please let me help you (you find the mail address on the website and on the info screen within the app). Please note that there is no way to respond to you if you post a review on the App Store instead. Always email me first!

If you like the app, let others know by submitting a good review on the App Store. And feel free to send me suggestions for further releases."

Jomox Goes Modular with Eurorack Format Modules

"Visit us on the Frankfurt Musikmesse in Hall 5.1 Booth 72

We'd like to introduce our new euro rack drum module series:

Continuing the proven Jomox analog drum desktop modules, we have decided to expand into the 19” euro rack market while keeping the tradition of our storeable analog sound production. To achieve this, we had to develop a complete new analog control system for our circuitries inside these modules.

We'd like to make these euro rack products interesting for both live drummers and modular people. Therefore, a CV/Gate control and trigger inputs for drumpad pickups are available.
For regular modular use, analog routable CV inputs and an analog output are accessible via 3.5mm jacks. The Gate can be configured as 0-5V, 0-15V, inversed or s-trigger.

Everything is storeable and can be recalled via encoder klick from 128 presets. But for the analog feel of modular, eight potentiometers give you the fine and precise editing of the most important parameters without stepping through menus.
E-Drummers can create complete E-drum setups, because there is an internal Jomox analog connection bus with a fast digital link which can do a submix and an FX send mix from each module hooked up to the bus.
Over this system bus you won't need to use the audio outputs but instead you have a programmable bus system that can link to future master, sequencer and mixing or effects modules - which can take control over the single modules.
This makes the whole modular setup recallable and storeable from a center module like a drum machine.
You certainly can't imagine a live drummer who may tweak the knobs of the pure analog modular system prior to each song he wants to perform;)

Also, to link the ModBase modules to our other products, they all have a Midi interface on the rear that can be wired within the rack case and being cascaded from one module to another.
The menu selection is paged by two-colored LEDs for both sides of the menu.
ModBase 09 Bass Drum Module and Mod.Brane 11 Percussion Module are supposed to be available in Summer 2013. More modules are yet to come."
