1st Review of I Dream of Wires & Interview with Producer Jason Amm of Solvent

You'll find the full review and interview on Waveformless here.

"Having just finished watching an advance copy of the utterly breathtaking 4 hour 'Hardcore version' of the documentary I Dream of Wires (IDOW) one cannot help but be caught up with the sheer love and passion that flows throughout this film, and be enraptured by this eccentric and obsessive subculture. The film outlines the history of synthesis and electronic music and takes us on a journey from the pioneering work of Moog and Buchla to rise of digital synths and the near-death of monster modular systems. Then onto the movement away from laptops and software and the phenomenal global resurgence of modular systems that we have today."

Kawai K1m + Ableton Live 9

Published on Aug 1, 2013

Googlish: "I made in Kawai K1m and Ableton Live9. Sorry for melody of the state as it is a simple as hard as ever chord progression. Rhythm part of Impulse Live9. Other parts are K1m. I had to do Teke Teke Arpeggiator device in Live's arpeggio. Convenient - shin. I do not live to think hard even thought I Na want to change a little the tone in the case of K1, it is necessary to replace the waveform, but it will or interesting to reverse. It is a good brackets appearance in the late 80s really, but when I open the lid for cleaning, in you or was Sukkasuka. By the way, SE entering slightly in the K1m. While we ended up messing corresponds to the recording later to say and. Breath system like that - sigh - such as folder in good like, It is a good feeling. Fact, it is heard they change the tone while playing with the joystick, but tech. We would like to try to challenge someday."

"Little patch thrown together to demonstrate a few things. Lower 250e running in continuous mode under v30.6 works well with stepped input from the 251e. Compare this to the cruddy timing in my Butcher Reverb vid. Many thanks to Darren for pushing this fix through."
