"Up for sale is a 9u Blue Lantern Modules Modular system in a custom aluminum case. The case itself was cut with a waterjet industrial machine. This particular synth is using a newer universal power supply.
The power supply uses a 24v DC 3A Wall adapter. That adapter is compatible with 110v or 220v AC. It is auto switching, you just plug in your countries corresponding IEC cord. This is using the same new power setup as
the dwarf star semi modular.

This particular synth is skinnier then the wooden modulars I have sold.

This is what you get with the sale: The 9u Modular unit, the 24v DC wall adapter, a midi cv 3.5mm converter adapter, and 50 patch cables. I only supply the USA IEC power cord, all other countries you can use one you have or buy one in your local computer store (cost about $5.00)

Korg Sigma Rare Analog Synthesizer

" Unit was opened and modified with plastic electrical connectors so it can be separated into two pieces as seen in picture. This allows ease for service or repair

Keyboard assembly was removed and each key contact was cleaned. The keyboard is responsive and the after touch feature unique for this instrument is fully functional.

One knob and both joystick caps were replaced with wood versions, see pics.

The Sigma is known for breaking joysticks and the wood replacement are very similar in size and feel.

Check out “Korg Sigma Advert” on youtube to see how amazing this unit is"

June 1981 E&MM Fairlight CMI Review at @noyzelab

via noyzelab where you'll find the full review.

"In depth technical review of the ultra legendary Fairlight CMI sampler + see The Holmes Page for more info. Although mind-numbingly expensive when it came out it ended being used by a wide variety of artists / studios including the BBC Radiophonic Workshop (see more articles on this site relating them here), Kate Bush, Stevie Wonder, The Art of Noise, SPK and Skinny Puppy. Review written by Dr David Ellis, based on an interview with Peter Vogel by Mike Beecher. Scanned from my copy of Electronics & Music Maker, June 1981."

Video moved to a new channel. All parts here.

"RHODES CHROMA Demo / Part 2 of a 5 hour series of Demonstration / Tutorial Video's of the Rhodes Chroma / Arp Chroma Synthesizer. The Rhodes Chroma is a vintage polyphonic analog synthesizer completely designed by the Arp Synthesizer Company and manufactured by Rhodes between 1982 and 1983. There were approximately 3000 Chromas produced in total between 82 & 83, making it *now* one of the most valued synthesizers to those who are 'in the know.'

Any corrections are listed below, or in the comments section.

I have attempted to scratch the surface of this wonderful synthesizer in a *very* CASUAL 3 part video series totaling @ 5 hours. Please look for the other parts to this initial series, and be sure to watch for much more on the legendary Arp Chroma.

For more info, please see:

http://www.rhodeschroma.com/

CORRECTIONS:

1. The CC+ affords *4* banks of 50 patches, not 3. (I erred...)"

Part 1 here.
