"It's a great little drum machine, with a combination of subtractive and FM synthesis as well as sample support. Connectivity on standard 5-pin MIDI DIN as well as MIDI over USB. Two stereo outputs and full panning control means four independent outs, giving you lots of flexibility when mixing. Huge low end, but still tight and controlled. It's so much more than a drum machine; it can be pushed into full-on groovebox territory and has enough voices to build a whole track with. Sequencing is simple, with a Roland TR style chaselight sequencer, but if you want to go deeper it has pattern randomization functions and trigger probability on each step. It can randomize patches too, if you're feeling uninspired."

"This is 'IN TRUTINA' from CARMINA BURANA by Carl Orff. The "Carmina Burana" is a collection of poems mostly in medieval Latin written in the 11th 12th and 13th centuries. They were discovered in 1803 in the Benedictine monastery of BENEDIKTBEUERN, in Bavaria. That is why I chose the chapel of the monastery as an appropriate place to play this piece."

"New screening to announce: I DREAM OF WIRES' Switzerland premiere will take place on Oct.19 as part of LUFF (Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival). Morton Subotnick will be playing at the festival as well - let's hope he makes it to the screening!"
