Waldorf Streichfett, Roland Aira TB-3, Akai XR-20/Groovesizer (Experimentation 4)

Published on Feb 22, 2015 Metatron's Cube

"So a mackie Mix12FX was purchased as a much needed outboard mixer for my Volca series and two Monotribes(now everything can be played on not just a small choice of instruments.). This is a test of the mixer, a Behringer Ultragain Pro tube preamp(also thrown into the mix) and one of the tiny BBE desktop sonic maximizers(1/4"jacks).
The TB-3 is playing, as well as controlling the Waldorf Streichfett. And the XR-20 playing an old loop(lol, i forgot how to use the groovesizer for a second). Thanks for watching/listening!"

Using a Step Sequencer to Modulate a Synth's Filter

Published on Feb 22, 2015 zibbybone

"I created a rhythmic pattern on the MFB Urzwerg Pro sequencer which is modulating the Roland Juno 60's filter via its External VCF Control jack on the back. A Roland SBX-10 Sync Box is providing the master clock which is feeding a DIN Sync 24 lead to the TR-808 and MIDI clock to the Urzwerg. There is a constant stream of sixteenth note programmed on the 808's Accent and its trigger out is feeding the sync input on the SH-101 (off camera) which is providing the arpeggiated bass line. The SH-101 is fed through a EHX Talking Machine which I am also controlling its formant filter with an EV-5 expression pedal. The Juno 60 is being processed by an Eventide Space reverb pedal."

Sputnik Four-Tap Delay - Dual Crossfader feedback patch

Published on Feb 22, 2015 bigcitymusic

"This patch explores a feedback configuration with the Four-Tap Delay.

An oscillator is patched into input 1 of the Four-Tap Delay.

The delayed output(s) of signal 1 are patched sections A and B of the dual crossfader, which are then patched into input 2 and 3 of the Four-Tap delay. The input attenuators determine the amount of feedback in the loop."
