DSP Synthesizers Programable EPROM ZIF Socket Eurorack Module

via DSP Synthesizers

"Remember the old Simmons drums and the more recent ddrum systems that carried that magic ZIF (zero insertation force) sockets?

Sounds replaceable by just swapping chips in a socket without tools?
Those days are back.
The 4HP DDM module does that and more.

It allows you to swap the sound chip with just your fingers, even during a live performance.

But it gives you more than the old EPROMs did.
The chip does not only contain sample data but also the entire DSP algorithm programmed.

It features 4 analog/digital CV inputs and a parameter knob.
1 mono analog output.

And you can program it yourself because it’s an ATtiny 44/84.
Yes, it works in the Arduino IDE envoirement.

This is really a tribute to the old technology with some 21’st century tech in it.

Enjoy programming your own modules and swapping chips."

Not the best paint job...

But. It does make you wonder what a professionally painted black one might have looked like.

Arp 2600 Vintage Analog Synth SN 0062 with 3620 Keyboard

"For sale is a rare Arp 2600 synthesizer with the more advanced 3620 keyboard. Serial number on main unit and keyboard are matching, which is quite hard to find. This is a very clean example in excellent condition cosmetically, it's amazing how nice it looks. Graphics on the unit are very crisp and easy to read, and only minor signs of wear to be found on the unit. Check out the pictures below for more details to make sure you like it.

The main unit was fully serviced just last month and is 100% functional. The servicing cost over $1000. The unit is all original except for a brand new reverb tank. This is an early 2601 version but still has the Moog filter. The only thing worth noting is the keyboard has not been serviced, it does have a few keys that don't trigger properly, it just needs a simple cleaning of the key bus bar & contacts. It could also possibly use new bushings if desired. Otherwise everything is working as it should. You aren't likely to find a nicer 260 with Moog filter and the 3620 keyboard anytime soon. Nothing sounds like these old Arps, the newer Eurorack modular stuff doesn't even come close to the tone of these old analog beasts. Perfect for soundtrack work, effects, leads, external audio processing and inspiration in your studio. Don't miss out!"
