via the seller: "For sale here is an Emu Sp1200 with an amazing custom paint job by Bruce Forat. I've owned quite a few custom Forats and I will say this one is my favorite, incredibly amazing job the silver sparkle and lettering and graphics, even down to the custom silver knobs and sliders, it's really an amazing dope look. So classic.
It also has servicing / upgrades making this machine a breeze to use. It's fully functional and in amazing shape. All the buttons and pads trigger perfectly, pots are scratch free and the outputs are clean without hiss.
Cosmetically its near minty shape, the paint job is near perfect, looks really fantastic. The screen is so incredibly bright that it's hard to even show it properly in the pictures, but it looks awesome in person. Check out the pictures below for more details.
It has the following service/upgrades done in the past year by Bruce Forat:
- pads refurbished
- sliders refurbished
- all inputs outputs cleaned
- disk drive checked
- custom silver gloss paint job with silver knobs and sliders
- upgraded ultra bright custom blue backlight (super easy to read from multiple angles sitting in front or above, unlike the original screens)
Comes with a sound library of disks with rare samples including ($200 value)
- Roland TR909, TR808, TR606 sampled direct from the original machines (w/ OS 1.2 included on all disks)
- 16 original sound library disks including 5 from original Emu Sound collection
- 10 new old stock blank disks ready for formatting"

"For sale is an Emu Sp12 Turbo edition with 5 seconds sampling time. This SP12 is in super nice condition overall. It does have a few wear so be sure to check out the detailed pictures below to make sure you like it. The backlight is out but this is quite normal for an SP12 of this age, you can still read the screen fine in a well lit room. I just serviced all the buttons/pads so they are triggering smoothly. Everything is 100% fully functional. This also has upgraded modded filter by-pass outputs so that you can access both filtered outputs and non-filtered outputs. The SP12 sounds awesome! It's the best way to get the SP1200 same 12-bit sound quality at half the price, with 5 second sampling time and cool 80s style built in drums sounds. Includes original manual and power cable. Don't miss out!"

"1978, oberheim two voice synth with rare sequencer module. cosmetically in excellent condition, surprising for it's age. functionally absolutely gorgeous, totally working in all aspects. recently had a session in studio with an electronic musician/composer, and we had both this synth and the new two voice pro side by side. we had a chance to carefully A/B them. wow, the old SEM modules in this vintage two voice were profoundly richer. so i can personally vouch for that reality, having used my own ears. very, very musical synth.
only selling to fund the purchase of a vintage 4 voice,est coast otherwise would definitely keep it."
