Machines in Music Modular Synth Event Set for October 8/9 in New York

"Machines in Music is a free two-day modular synthesizer exhibition and events based in New York, October 8 & 9.

In 2015, Machines in Music invited 24 modular synthesizer companies from around the world to exhibit in a 2,000 sq. ft. space in Bushwick, NY. Over 1,000 visitors, beginners and experienced synthesizer users alike, took part in the hands-on exploration of each company’s modules as well as discussions by Industry Professionals. The evening concert included five artists performing live-modular sets with live-visuals provided by a local multi-media artist. The following day, MiM invited users to perform short live-sets in a casual setting.

Machines in Music’s goal is to bring together users and makers of the new generation of modular synthesizers.

"This listing is for a like new Moog Mother 32 with a two tier rack kit and extra Moog 60hp case to fill with other modules. All of these items were bought new a few months ago from Sweetwater and have only been used a few times in my smoke free home studio. The additional 60hp case does not include power. The Mother 32 will include its power supply, manual and five patch cables. Retail for all of this new would be around 736.00. Basically instead of buying a new Mother 32 for 599.00 you could get this Mother 32 in like new condition with the 60hp case and two tier rack kit as free accessories."

Thought it was kind of interesting that Nile's picture is on the cover of the manual rather than the EPS. For those not familiar with Nile, via Wikipedia:

"Nile Gregory Rodgers (born September 19, 1952) is an American record producer, songwriter, musician, composer, arranger and guitarist. He is the lead guitarist and co-founding member with Bernard Edwards of the band Chic, which has been active since 1976 and was one of the most successful groups of the disco era."

"A demo of my personal DIY synthesizer with sequencer design, called Tokarev Protosynth T32. Its based on the STM32F103 32 bit microcontroller. Output is done through a timer PWM output with a 4th order analog lowpass active filter realised on LM358 opamp. Cheers!"
