"Hello. It was about time for a new Tutorial from me - i think ;-) So today i want to have a look at how we can create some classic Dub Techno Chords with the Elektron Digitakt - using only the stock Samples it comes shipped with! In particular im using the Single Cycle Waveforms which can be found in the Toolbox Directory.

There are much more of these Single Cycle Waveforms available on the Internet. The most known Collection is probably the one created from Adventure Kid (AKWF Waveforms). You can find this huge collection of Single Cycle Waveforms here:

I hope you like this Tutorial. If thats the case: Dont forget to leave me your like. And if you dont wanna miss whats coming next: Hit that subscribe Button ;-)

Vintage Moog Synth & Swag Spotting at the Kohoutek Festival 1984 @ Pitzer College

Check this out. The first band has lots of Moog swag including the elusive painters hat/cap, t-shirts, and of course the synths. Curious if it they were sponsored by Moog. You can also spot a Roland Strings RS-202 I believe, and an Oberheim OB-8. Don't miss the "Have You Had Your Moog Modified Today" shirt. Thought that was pretty cool/interesting considering. It meant there was enough of a focus on modding your synths to market it.

The second band appears to have a Yamaha SK30. P.S. Almost thought the announcer said "Rik Ocasek and his band". :)

'MUSIC IN THE DARK' MINI-CASSETTE CON-CERT CON-DUCTED BY GEN KEN MONTGOMERY, SUNDAY AUGUST 6 @5PM

In 1989, CON sent GEN KEN 2 cassettes with which to CON-duct 'Music in the Dark' CON-certs in quad stereo, when octophonic sound was not available. These cassette were used in Generator, where GEN KEN was proprietor, to bring CON's sounds to New York dwellers, when he himself could not be present. On the evening of August 6, you are invited to participate in 'Music in the Dark,' CON-ducted by GEN KEN. This event will use CON's original recordings. These original cassettes, cassettes from Conrad Schnitzler's cassette organ, and remains of the fallen Berlin Wall collected by CON and mailed to GEN KEN - will be on display throughout the weekend.

With special thanks to the deep archive of collaborator Gen Ken Montgomery @generations_unlimited, who provided all archival materials for this show.

1. 01- The Analogue Solutions Fusebox- Introduction
"Here is a piece of music created with the new Analogue Solutions Fusebox. All of the tonal aspects were created with the Fusebox. The song is based on a live performance of the bass line using a combination of the Interval Generator and the Patternator. These two functions, when used together, can create extremely expressive, changing, and changeable sequences.
An entire series on the Fusebox is forthcoming.

Most of the drums in this song were sequenced on an Ensoniq EPS-16+ using a combination of drum samples from a variety of sources, including the Alesis SR-16.

Chords, melodies, harmonies, sound effects, automated arpeggiation, and one drum fill were all multitracked after-the-fact."

"At the end of the 70s Wolfgang Palm developed wavetable synthesis. This was very successful and used by many synthesizer companies in the 80s and 90s. But this technology has its limitations. The main reason is that all sounds are harmonic. In nature this does not happen very often. Many sounds like a piano string have small offsets from the harmonic frequencies. This is even stronger in sounds like bells or percussion.

Infinite overcomes this limitation.
