"Join me as we enjoy the Fairlight CMI sample library. The newly released Arturia CMI V includes 600 presets from the original CMI library, let's see if we can find and play some highlight sounds.

In 1980, the Fairlight CMI turned heads with the introduction of digital sampling. It was an expensive instrument, if memory serves me right about $100,000. It helped define the sound of the 80s. Now you can get this sound in a VST plugin, thanks to the newly released Arturia CMI V, part of the Arturial V Collection 6.

New Behringer VP-330 Vocoder Clone Prototype Pic?

You might remember the circuit boards posted back in May here.

This new pic includes the case. Note the slim bottom piece is the control section. You can see the sliders match up to the previous pics, and the original Roland VP-330 controls. Note the top piece in the image (bottom of the case) is wider and includes the mod control section and space for the key bed.

"Holy cow flop Batman dynamic duo-phonic! Sorry about the distorting in the sound demo. The camera I have overhead need's adjustment and I should have used it's headphone monitor output. The video is more about feature then sound. The sound fx video later on is a much better sonic imprint."
