"Amazing sounding vintage string synthesizer. Very rare. It has 25 oscillators with organ style divider circuits to create a full and enveloping symphonic sound, especially with the Ensemble effect engaged and the internal spring reverb cranked up. Very clean inside/out and fully functional. Some of the keys need to be leveled, but they do work. No lid"

"Playing various arpeggios and some drums live on the Novation Supernova 2 Pro-X. This a normalized raw recording. Fun synth to play with for sure. I hope you enjoys some of these old school sounds."

Rutt-Etra Style Vector Rescanning With LZX Eurorack Modules & Vectrex

Published on Feb 15, 2019 Perfect Circuit

"We used the LZX Visual Cortex, Navigator and Shapechanger to generate and manipulate scanline images that are displayed on a Vectrex monitor. Read our article about scanline manipulation for more information about how this works: https://www.perfectcircuit.com/articl...

We used the LZX Escher Sketch as a control interface for the vectors. The sounds are generated in the eurorack case by a Rossum Assimil8or sampler for drums and a Harvestman Piston Honda MK3 for synthesizer sounds. A Strymon Magneto provides delay and reverb.

LZX modules available here: https://www.perfectcircuit.com/lzx-in..."

Song-A-Day & #RPM Challenge 14 - 'End Credits' Synthwave on PO-20 Po-28 & Blofeld

Published on Feb 15, 2019 ChrisLody

"So here's a bit of chip tune inspired music on the Pocket Operator PO-20 Arcade and PO-28 Robot, which are a match made in heaven in my opinion, joined eventually by a C64 style pwm lead sound on the Waldorf Blofeld. It has a really nice wavetable called Micro PWM which sounds like it must have been sampled from a SID chip to me as it's very close to the authentic sound of 8 bit hardware. The whole thing sounds like some sort of synthwave end credits to me."

Roland VP 03 vocoder jam with Volca Sample and SH 01A

Published on Feb 15, 2019 Ian R

"Sorry about the video angle, my tripod is out of commission for the moment.

Some noodling with the Roland VP 03. This is maybe my favorite of the boutiques, it's surprising how nice it can sound with a few effects- even with the cheap gooseneck mic. Also some bass from SH 01A and drums from Vocla sample. Reverb from the Zoom MS 70CDR. Hope the audio comes through well enough to enjoy.

I guess the song is called upside down, since those are the only lyrics. I'm no kind of songwriter or vocalist but maybe if I keep messing with this thing i'll need to start doing some lyric writing."
