"Named after a vicious dinosaur, its sound is no less aggressive. TherapSid has evolved to create roaring noises that will cut through your mix like razor-sharp claws through a mammoth steak. So why do you need another synth, since they already take 90% of the space in your room and your significant other keeps complaining about it?

Well, what sets TherapSid apart from other SID based synths is its focus on control. Instead of getting confused by lcds and damaging your eyesight trying to read tiny sub menu fonts, this instrument features no less than 35 knobs and 31 buttons to give you full power over your sound.

TherapSid is lovingly handcrafted in the south of France and features a backlit front panel, walnut side-panels and comes with 100 presets to get you started. You can assign LFOs to knobs with one push of a button or sequence “snapshots” of knob positions using the flexible 16 step sequencer, enough to keep you busy until the next ice age.

TherapSid Features:

Compatible with all SIDS
3 Oscillators, 4 waveforms per oscillator
Multimode Filter
35 Knobs, 31 Buttons
SID pcb isolated from main pcb (less noise)
Switched audio input for running signals through the filter
100 Presets
3 LFOs: 4 waveforms, 12 target knobs
16 Step Modulator: sequence up to 20 knob positions, per step in a snap! Also modulate Ring Mod, Sync and Waveform for all voices.
Pedal Glide: enable/disable glide with the sustain pedal
Compatible with free iPad app (pending app store approval)
Fully MIDI automated (see midi spec. chart in manual)
Future proof: Firmware updates via sysex"

Korg Mono/Poly Analog Synthesizer SN 470585

"The Korg Mono/Poly has a bit of a cult appeal, among vintage analog monos. It stands out due to its unique paraphonic architecture, featuring four SSM2033 VCOs and one SSM2044 VCF, along with a variety of keyboard control modes. It is incredibly versatile and provides ample control via its knob-laden panel. The switchable mod/sync circuit makes for a lot of fun and the poly mode, with individual tuning per osc, can produce some sickeningly lo-fi textures a-la Boards of Canada or MGMT's recent Little Dark Age."

Critter & Guitari - NESWave Synth for Organelle

Published on Mar 10, 2019 Critter & Guitari

"Author: Blavatsky

This is one of thirteen user-made Organelle patches we're showcasing! The Organelle is full of possibilities waiting to be explored and shared. Each patch in this series is a unique approach to an instrument or effect - the result of the contributor working with the Organelle to make their vision a reality! The icing of this musical cake is that the patches have been shared so others may explore and create! Thanks to all the creators making the Organelle more than we hoped it could be!

This is a wavetable synth with sampled 8-bit waveforms. Play the game of NESWave to move through six different levels of sound design, starting with basic wave selecting and filtering, and moving through arpeggios, reverb, even grain delay. When the game is over, you have a special sound unique to that playthrough! To demonstrate, we played the game and jammed on our new sound.

KORG minilogue xd: 15 custom-made sounds

Published on Mar 10, 2019 IAmTheSwordmaster1

"In this clip I'm demonstrating 15 of my first custom-made patches on the KORG minilogue xd analogue synthesizer. Don't let the size of this instrument fool you. It is a real powerhouse, very inspiring and extremely versatile. It's combining the best features of the original minilogue, the monologue and even the prologue with its digital MULTI ENGINE and the digital effects. It doesn't sound exactly like the prologue, but both synths are really close to each other. So if you're fine with 4 voices and you're looking for a ultra-versatile polysynth with a small footprint, you should definitely check out this little fella. I fell in love instantly. :-)"
