"The CS-30 is a large, knob infested, black analog synthesizer with traditional features. It is a monophonic synth with extensive analog control and shaping. It has two oscillators with separate outputs, two voltage-controlled resonant filters, two voltage-controlled amplifiers and three envelopes. It also features a ring modulator, external audio triggering and a simple but useful 8-step sequencer for use as a sketch pad, pattern or arpeggio effect. The CS-30 does not have any on-board effects, memory nor MIDI. Although the CS-30 is just a monophonic synth with a short 44 note keyboard it offers a lot of programming flexibility, and plenty of knobs."

"Near Mint (9.5/10) ARP/Eminent SE-IV (SE1) String Ensemble for sale. Works perfectly. Full Polyphony (divide down). Has been heard on countless recordings from 1974-now. This unit is in the best condition I have seen/owned over 30 years - this was the unit I kept for my own collection, but, due to moving, I have to let all my keyboards go... It would be tough to find one close to this condition again."

"Crumar Orchestrator that was serviced at Deltronics about 7 years ago. Someone also made a transpose/octave modification (pictured).

As you can see its missing a number of plastic slider tips and has some cosmetic damage. Synth powers up and works but has some scratchy sliders and outputs."

Michael Boddicker on UNO Synth

Published on Mar 27, 2019 ikmultimedia

"Michael Boddicker [IMDB profile] has spent his life surrounded by music, specifically synth based electronic music. Composing the soundtracks of Frankenstein, Les Misérables, and Waterworld to name a few, Michael knows a thing or two about music production. After showing him UNO Synth, he was impressed by a lot of the features it has to offer.

“What I like about the UNO Synth is that it’s unique. It isn’t trying to be anything else. It has its own sound and special features. I love this synth! Very intuitive. Beautifully presented. Awesome sound. It has such great value and it’s so affordable that I can imagine everyone walking out the door with one at Synthplex.” https://www.ikmultimedia.com/unosynth/

Michael Boddicker is a Grammy-winning composer, keyboardist and all around synth guru who owns a massive collection of keyboards and synths. He is the founder of the new Synthplex festival being held in Los Angeles March 28-31, 2019 where manufacturers of the latest electronic instruments including IK Multimedia will be presenting. Because Michael loves the UNO Synth so much they will be giving away one per day at Synthplex!"

A Few DPO Tricks

Published on Mar 27, 2019 MAKEN0ISE

"A few subtle sound design tricks using the DPO.

- mixing a thinned out Shape waveform with the Sine wave for buzzy sounds with fundamental (different from spiked triangle)
- using SYNC to keep the Mod Bus Growl sounding even and in-tune for heavy sounds
- circular FM at low frequencies as a chaotic modulation source"
