Thank you XOR! Will be wearing that T out today! :)

Great quality shirt BTW.  The XOR logo is stitched, not printed.

Korg Polysix Analog Synthesizer (1982) emulate 70s disco stringmachine sound

Published on Apr 26, 2019 RetroSound

"(c) 2019 vintage synthesizer demo by RetroSound

The #KORG #Polysix analog #synthesizer is perfect to emulate these typical 70s disco stringmachine sounds. The P-6s phaser and ensemble effect is very important.

With the settings can you create different timbres of stringmachine sounds."

Critter & Guitari - Aquarius 4 for Organelle

Published on Apr 26, 2019 Critter & Guitari

"Author: callmesam

This is one of thirteen user-made patches we're showcasing! The Organelle is full of possibilities waiting to be explored and shared. Each patch in this series is a unique approach to an instrument or effect - the result of the contributor working with the Organelle to make their vision a reality! The icing of this musical cake is that the patches have been shared so others may explore and create! Thanks to all the creators making the Organelle more than we hoped it could be!

This subtractive synth uses preset envelope shapes to expedite sound programming. Use 'Aux' to switch between two pages of settings, adjusting octave transposition, envelopes, filter cutoff, oscillator waveform (x2), pulse width modulation, and chorus. Use the encoder to scroll through presets within the patch!

Phenol Synth Voices

Published on Apr 26, 2019 Robin Rimbaud-Scanner

"What you are hearing is just the voices of the Kilpatrick Audio Phenol synthesiser, one of my very favourite instruments, self patched, so it's playing itself. No additional effects. What's interesting is that I thought I could hear voices in the music in the opening minute, as if someone were chatting through the walls, but thankfully it was just the synth itself :-)"

Dude can play.

"The 'Area 1' theme of 'Operation C' on Gameboy (AKA Contra jungle theme) performed live on a Sequential Prophet XL.

This is the first in a series in which I cover my favorite tunes from the Gameboy games I grew up playing. Hope you enjoy!

Melodies on a Buchla 200e - Part 01 Djangosfire

Published on Apr 26, 2019 djangosfire

"Wanted to show an example of melodic possibilities on a Buchla 200e. This a focus on the concept of pitched transpositions (not the tone of the patch this time).

Modules used:

Buchla 251e, 223e, 281e, 292e, 206e
Studio H: 258e & Control and Signal Router

A few notes on the pitch aspects of the patch:

- 258e is tracking 1.2v/oct
- 251e is tuned to play octaves
- the 223e is tuned to play a Major scale
- the Studio H Control and Signal Router is mixing and buffering the all of the CV into the 258e

Repeatable, pitch tracking on a Buchla 200e is possible, and sounds amazing! Once you set up a patch like this.. anything is possible.

More later - Thank you, Djangosfire"
