Bob Moog Foundation 2019 Year-In-Review Recap & Minimoog Raffle Update

"2019 was a year of great accomplishment for the Bob Moog Foundation as Dr. Bob's SoundSchool expanded to teach and inspire 3,000 children a year through science, music, and innovation, and as we opened the Moogseum in Asheville, NC, hosted Moogmentum, our grand opening celebration, and much more.

Roland D-50 61-Key Linear Synthesizer w/ Memory Cards

"The D-50 is a very interesting digital synth that combines PCM samples with Roland's linear arithmatic synthesis method, a style of digital subtractive synthesis. The PCM samples are providing the attack sound and the LAS section will ring out or sustain. In practice some very lovely and complex sounds are easy to achieve with the D-50.
This synth is in great shape and works perfectly with just some minor cosmetic wear from its age."

"This is a hard to find Yamaha DX5 synthesizer. This one is in excellent condition, it's been fully tested and everything works flawlessly. Has a new internal battery installed and I've loaded all the original factory sounds back into it. Only flaw is there's an area on the left side of the front panel that is slightly blotchy in color (see pic #2)."

"Time to let go of my Two-Voice which I've had since 1997 when I got it from a tech in Atlanta.
The tolex was a bit rough when I got it but the inside is impeccable, and it works like a charm.
I have had it in for repairs 3 times during the 23 years that I have owned it so far.
Once around 2005 at Two Lines Music on Broadway, then at EARS Music Repairs in the Music District of NY in 2010 and a few weeks ago the sound OUT mixer module needed repair and I took it to AUDIOTRONIC in Bordeaux.
This beautiful beast is too large to occupy the space it deserves in our small home here in France so she has to go to someone who can provide her the space she needs to be played more frequently than with me when al I can do is take her out on occasion and run the sequemcer for samples.
I uploaded a few videos to show her in action for the purpose of this sale. The audio is far from sample quality but then, this was destined for Youtube to show the basic functioning of this machine.
There is one small niggle with this synth. The uppermost F# key sometimes gets stuck and has to be gently pulled back. Not a big deal for me, but needs to be mentioned. I mostly play the sequencer and oh, it also works with a TB-303 or an ARP Sequencer providing gate and CV."
