all sounds: E-MU Emulator II Sampling Synthesizer (1984)
Emulator II Sampling Library (Moog Bass, Marcato Strings, Voices, Trumpet, Percussion....)
recording: multi-track

The West End Girls final version came out in 1985. The first number one hit from the Pet Shop Boys in europe. I was 13 years old and the track is a part of the soundtrack of my life. A timeless classic. But my PSB favorite is Love Comes Quickly. But later.... ;)

Total Recall
BABY, YOU MAKE ME WISH I HAD THREE HANDS!

TOTAL RECALL – the 6 HP module designed to ease up transitions in live sets by controlling 3 (!) CVs at once – just by the use of one soulful hand. Intuitive to set up the desired voltages to control anything in your modular system that accepts CV (either unipolar 0-5V or bipolar -5-+5V). The preset manager/multistage CV controller rocks a macro feature no one would ever want to miss in future live performances.

Introducing TWO OF CUPS: 2-voice intuitive sample player for eurorack

• 6 HP width, 2 voice intuitive sample player with 8 banks
• Zero-latency sample playback—directly from microSD card
• Factory sound-bank by @Julia Bondar
• Onboard envelope generator decay control, pitch control with 1V/Oct input
and sample selection control with meta cv input
• Arbitrary sample rate: 8 and 16 bit samples with 12 bit output bitrate
• Depth: 30mm (with ribbon cable plugged in)
• Power requirements: +12V: 125mA, -12V: 20mA"

Two Of Cups

IT IS BETTER TOGETHER

TWO OF CUPS – include samples in your live set. Two of them at once with a wide variety of CV-able features. Simply load one of 8 (!) banks each containing up to 24 samples for each of the two voices and off you go (unlock this feature with firmware 1.1!). Needless to say you can change the samples under CV and if needed – you can set up the trigger delay for each voice because that boy plays its sample so instantly and sample accurate with the with lightning speed. Breathe life and fresh sounds into your setup with a small footprint (6 HP) you would normally need to carry around a gazillion of gear to reproduce the sonic capabilities. Alternatively, use it the boring way and simply play drum one-shots off it.

This one took me a second to realize what I was seeing. Thought it had acrylic side panels at first, then an acrylic case, then it sunk in.
