Elka Synthex For Sale / Wanted

video upload by tonetweakers

"We buy, meticulously restore and sell Elka Synthex synthesizers and most other vintage synths and older electronic musical instruments. This video shows the systematic testing of one of our refurbished Synthexes. Please visit us at tonetweakers.com and sign up for our newsletters while you’re there. Thanks for reading!

NOTE: we're using Roland monitor speakers and one of them just broke, so you'll hear slight timbral differences between the upper and lower voice outputs. This is due to the speakers and not the synth. If anyone's got some white Roland MA-8 speakers they'd like to sell us, please email us."

Critter & Guitari - Cannabits for Organelle

video upload by Critter & Guitari

"Download this patch here: https://www.critterandguitari.com/org...
Cannabits is an effects patch for the Organelle that selects effects randomly. New effect parameters are synced to tempo! Set tempo and beat subdivision to adjust the rhythm of ensuing effects. There are three effects slots that process incoming sound in parallel, tripling your cannaba-randomness! Past generations of effects are accessable via the Organelle's keyboard.
To help demonstrate Cannabits we turned to the Cinematic Piano patch which was made by chkbeto. It sounds really nice!

"A highly resonant dual State Variable Filter with Verso and Inverso CV over Cutoff Frequency.

Duber.

Duber is a Dual State Variable Filter with Differential CV Inputs over the Cutoff Freq.

Duber has 3 Audio Inputs - A, B, and AB.

Duber has 3 Audio Outputs - A, B, and AB.

Duber has 2 CV Inputs for each Filter - Verso and Inverso.

Duber has 2 Touch Points for each Filter that are directly tied to Verso and Inverso.

Duber is highly resonant.

Duber can be pinged with short pulses for exciting wet pops and clicks.

Duber plays really well with Orange Outputs of the ciat-lonbarde Rolzer. (use a Format Jumbler, I suggest Low-Gain Electronics UTL Series, or my crucFX JMBLR)

Duber does not completely cut all Freq. to 0, but rather brings it down into a lush warm bed of flowing chocolate.

APEX Vol 1 - Novation Summit - Patches 1 to 16 - Dual Layer Stacks & Splits.

video upload by GEOSynths

Additional APEX Vol 1 - Novation Summit patch demos

"Out Soon...
I'm back with some more Patches, this time dedicated to the fantastic Novation Summit. I previously made Zenith Vol 3 for the PEAK, which also loads into the Summit, however I thought I'd make 64 Dual Layer Patches for Stacks and Splits.

They are different Sounds from what I created for Zenith Vol 1 to 3 and utilize the added Functionality of the Summit, especially the Filter Functions. Each Patch is made up from 2 different Sounds, mostly Layered though there are some Splits, but of course, they can be used on their own, giving 128 Single Patches.

They're not compatible with the PEAK.

Moog Sub37/Subsequent 37: 64 Techno Presets+Sequences. Demo

video upload by Anton Anru

"Each preset contains a sequence with Pitch, Velocity, and Modulation lanes, up to 64 steps. The collection also includes the sequences with odd lengths: 5, 7, 9, etc. They create polymetric/polyrhythmic feel, that is quite typical for Techno.
Some presets/sequences are in Duo Mode, they create chord lines.

🎧 Get the soundset: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/moog/

The pack also includes a folder with all sequences saved separately from the presets. You may use the sequences with any other timbres: choose/make a preset, go to the "Sequencer" tab, and push "Load".

ModWheel is set in all patches, it adds brightness, changes the tone, or increases the length of notes.
Patches' volume levels are set close to each other, you won't get sudden volume spikes or drops while switching the timbres.

You may use the sequences as they are, or take them as a starting point for further editing and tweaking. Try different Rates/Time Divisions, including Triplet and Dots; try changing the length of a sequence from start or/and from end; try shifting the start point; try adding Octaves, try playing with Forward/Backward and Invert modes, or simply change steps' values: Pitch, Modulation, Modulation destination. Subsequent 37 gives nice performance tools, and you can get plenty of variations just with one sequence.

I recommend syncing the synth to some external beat to get a proper impression of the sequences.

The soundset is suitable for various Techno sub-genres: Melodic, Minimal, Acid, Dub, Berlin, Chicago, Modular, Dark, Deep, Ambient.
Also, the presets can be used in other genres of electronic dance music: House, Trance, Hardcore, EDM, Progressive, Electro, Industrial, and others.
The patches cover a wide range of tones: mild and aggressive, deep and bright, soft and punchy.
