video upload by Norand

"This last video about Firmware V2.0 shows how to use and customize expressive controls.
I use the Erae Touch from Embodme to control Velocity, Aftertouch, Vertical and Pitchbend.
However Velocity and Vertical can be directly set on Mono.

0:00 - Intro
0:10 - Velocity
0:41 - Aftertouch
1:12 - Vertical
2:05 - Pitchbend
2:52 - Edit Velocity/Vertical"

Programming Prophet 5 Patch Into Memorymoog (by synthpro)

video upload by synthpro

"Hey Guys,
This is a video going over a Prophet 5 patch I have programmed into the memorymoog. This is a example of preset 3-6: Release-Repeat found in the Prophet 5.

NOTE: you may have to tweak the modulation amount and speed to get the results you are after, this can vary on Memorymoogs just a bit.

Thanks for watching!

Sincerely,
Jareth"

Trying out Auza's Wave Packets, a crazy audio and modulation generator for Eurorack

video upload by Stazma

"More infos & affiliate links in the description // Support on Patreon to get samples from this session: https://www.patreon.com/join/stazma

Today we chack out that very interesting module by Auza Audio: the Wave Packets!
It's a bit like one channel of a Buchla 281 has been cramed with TONS of features. Fully digital yet very analog in the way you interact with it.

Have fun!"

Eden Grey - live @SUPERBOOTH22

video upload by Superbooth Berlin

"Miami-based Chelsea Bruno also known as Eden Grey makes music using her own techniques approaching music technology, in an effort to express the ineffable. Dr. Bruno began researching and working with the Eurorack modular synthesizer whilst earning her Masters’ degree at Florida International University in Music Technology.

Modular synthesis was the main research focus of her PhD in Music Composition at Royal Holloway, University of London, while participating in synth meets and performing in the UK and Europe, and organizing the CV FREQS London synth meet and concert events. She has been a very welcomed guest and performer at SUPERBOOTH already.

SIDETRACKED / figuring out recording setup / eurorack

video upload by BRiES

"I got sidetracked so much the last few weeks trying to figure out a better way to record signals from the modular. It's not at all straightforward. Here I recorded the bass onto a seperate channel to get the 'oomph' back into it with some nice pre-amp plugin... sounds like a good fix right? But now I can't run it through the sidechain compression which means I can't hear how the track SHOULD sound when tracking it. SMH.

After recording this video I've adopted the 'outboard mixer road' completely. It's a hell of a mess of cables but the flexibility of an outboard desk with 3 stereo outs and 6 aux sends is hard to beat. The mixer I have has a great sound to it as well and after a lot of consideration I realised creating an environment for making music and sounds should always primarily be based on sound rather than practicality (even though both matter and it sometimes is a difficult balance)."
