Brooklyn Synth Expo 2016 Set for November 12-13

via Delicious Audio where you'll find details on how to attend.

"On the heels of the last year’s third edition, attended by more almost 1200 musicians – The Deli Magazine NYC is proud to announce the Brooklyn Synth Expo 2016, a free event hosted at Williamsburg’s instrument store Main Drag Music, and scheduled for the weekend of November 12-13.

This year’s event is particularly exciting because some major manufacturers (including KORG, Dave Smith Instruments, Arturia and Elektron) will use it to launch or unveil for the first time some of their new models.

Visitors will be able to play with large format synths, tabletop and mini synths, gadget synths, Eruorack modules and effects by these manufacturers and more:

Brooklyn Synth Expo 2015 Set for November 7 - 8

"The Brooklyn Synth Expo is an event organized by The Deli NYC, an independent blog and printed magazine, active since 2004, which is entirely focused on emerging NYC musical artists and music gear. The Deli also organizes a similar event for guitar pedal fans, called the Stompbox Exhibit, both in Brooklyn and at SXSW in Austin.

Once again the Synth Expo will be hosted by Williamsburg's independent musical instrument store Main Drag Music, on the weekend of November 7-8, 2015.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2015

- Extensive list of large format synth manufacturers are participating, including up and coming companies like Elektron and Radikal - see the full list here.

- Roger Linn will demo his new Midi controller in person.

- Thousands of dollars in synth giveaways by DSI, Roland, Arturia, Novation and Radikal Technologies.

- Novation and Roland will be presenting their new products (Circuit and Boutique)

- Three Wave Music will be present with a selection of vintage synths

The event is synchronized with the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival, with whom we are collaborating on some synth panels TBA.

You'll find full details here.

The primary mission of The Deli has always been to support and cover emerging local artists. The Brooklyn Synth Expo is seen as an opportunity to give back to its readers through a fun event that allows them to discover new toys, try the latest products by more and less established manufacturers, and interact directly with them through their reps."
