"Exploring the sounds of the Electronotes 129 Thru Zero VCO."

via Sebastián Cordovés on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"Hi, here is a video of me testing my latest build, a Thru Zero VCO based on Electronotes 129 schematics. As is a module FM oriented, I did a FM patch using another VCO as modulator, and an envelope to control de modulation index. First half is not very musical, just me playing random notes and moving knobs. In the second half I run a sequence and keep moving knobs. I dind't use a filter or any effect."

Electronotes Analog Modular synthesizer

via this auction
"This is loaded with 13 modules and includes a keyboard controller. Similar in design to the Aries, Serge, Buchla and Moog synths of the 60s and 70s. Electronotes is well known as one of the main source of information on analog synth and circuit design since 1972. Schematics and design notes are still available from http://electronotes.netfirms.com/

This synth includes 1 DC coupled mixer, 1 VCF, 2 envelope generators, 1 VCA, 1 sample hold, 3 VCOs, 1 keyboard interface, 1 noise/random voltage, 1 white noise, 1 power supply. The power supply is heavy duty with +15, -15, +5 volts, and ground. It has patch points for powering external modules as well. The oscillators and keyboard work on 1volt per octave so this is compatible with many different types of modules and brands."
