"We spoke to Henrik from Sound Service at Superbooth 2023 about the new Kurzweil SP7 Grand, the latest stage piano in the SP range. The SP7 Grand has a touch screen to change sounds and also has two audio inputs with phantom power that can handle mic or guitar signals.

The SP7 has an SD card slot for future Sound Banks and a built-in harmonizer which can add layers to your voice.

It is available now and retails for around 2,050 Euros"

A new update Kurzweil K2x "Wave Phase K2" is the 80 Program, 22 new Keymap its made on the basis of a selection of Rom waves such as wave sequences or granular synthesis, the mixing of waves and the of effects is assigned to the fader controller (date), and also, depending on the patch, other controllers are assigned to the modulation wheel and autotach.

The download is available as KRZ files(89,8 kb).

"Well, does it matter? They are all great instruments, the Kurzweils does have some advantages. The Forte has 16 GB flash memory and some nice sound design tricks like modulating the sample start point. You can edit the Forte like a modular synth - limitless.

In this video I showcase my library, transferred sounds from my PC to the Forte. In part 2 I show how to go about it and convert your own Ni Kontakt sounds.
