"Alphasphere ​is a patch bank for the Roland Alpha Juno 1, Alpha Juno 2 and MKS-50 synthesizers. It contains 64 patches (8 banks of 8 patches) divided in a number of sound categories like bass, strings, pads, synths, leads and effects. It uses all the sound creating possibillities of the Alpha Juno. Most of the sounds are velocity sensitive and the the cutoff frequency of the sound is modulated depending on how hard the key is struck.

Doing something a little different this time. I have packed ALL 64 of my original Sub 37 patches into a 4-track MEGA DEMO, a cornucopia of basses, leads, arpeggios, and otherworldly sound effects. Everything you hear is ALL SUB 37, I wanted something true to the tone of just the Sub 37 and nothing else. You may see other effects and things in the background, but NONE are used here.

It took two weeks to compose, film, and edit the video.

The patches are free to download on my blog as a system exclusive file, AKA sysex. If you do, be sure to FIRST backup your own sounds to a computer, and confirm they are saved. A new release in our line of Vako Orchestron discs, HARMONIUM. It's unlikely that there will be sufficient demand to do a second run of 25 of these discs, so your best bet is to buy as many of these as you need while you can!

HARMONIUM is a sound that is new to the Orchestron, though it previously appeared on the vintage Optigan "Gay 90s Waltz" disc. The source recording is an old Estey harmonium (reed organ), taken from the original Optigan studio master tapes.

PLEASE NOTE: This disc WILL NOT play properly in an Optigan! They WILL play, but the sounds will NOT be mapped correctly to the keyboard- they will be mapped mostly haphazardly across the chord buttons. Please don't order this disc expecting to easily use it in an Optigan. In the future we will be porting the Orchestron sounds to the Optigan- please be patient! :)
