Jamuary #4 (small synths & a tape loop) | Improv 2023

video upload by Musical Miscellany (Poorness Studios)

"My next video to celebrate Jamuary. I did a little composition with the Error Instruments Cloudbusting Organic, Error Instruments Broken Tape Simulator (BTS), KORG KO-1 Kaossilator, Korg Volca Beats, Korg Volca Bass, and a tape loop from The Void Electronics (played on my Sony TCM-200DV). There's also a couple audio files playing on the DAW to add ambience."

VOID Modular Gravitational Waves Demo

Sean Pendleton

"A demo of the Gravitational Waves dual VCO -

VCO 1 and 2 saws and VCO 1s sub are mixed Timo’s SSM2044 and them direct to output. I think I wrongly called that a Fonitronik Module, but it’s actually based on Foniks implementation.

Envelopes are provided by the VOID Modular Dual ADSR"

Void Modular Graviton VCO Demo

Published on Aug 15, 2019 Sean Pendleton

"VOID Modular Graviton VCO Demo by Pressurewave

A swiss army knife of a VCO in 8hp. Triangle, sine, saw, pulse, /2 suboctave square, /4 suboctave square, white noise, pink noise. The noise is normalized to the FM attenuverter, so you can do anything from 'a little dirty' to 'tuned noise'. It's 3340 based, so it's very stable, but enough extras to give it some personality."

Sirius’ Veil Stereo VCF Demo

Published on Jul 5, 2019 Sean Pendleton

New eurorack module & synth kitten.

"Sirius' Veil is a stereo state variable filter with interesting features.

First 3 minutes - Gravitational Waves as input
Last two minutes - Drums as input

The right audio input is normalized to the left audio input for mono input signals. There is a master cutoff control and master CV control in the middle, and a switch to invert the master CV to the left channel for panning type effects. Each channel has VC resonance, cutoff offset, offset CV, and a VCA. The right VCA is normalized to the left VCA.

You are able to choose the filter state (LP, BP, HP, NP) with a push button, or a it can be changed via a gate or trigger into the "state" input. A three position switch on each side selects the number of steps available (2, 3 or 4).

Pairs great with a Gravitational Waves!

Available in my Etsy shop.

A really boring demo of the Brutalist VCF

Published on Nov 23, 2018 Sean Pendleton

"Demo of the new version of my 'Brutalist' VCF. The Brutalist is a Polivoks-ish style filter with resonance boost, overdrive, and a lowpass/bandpass mix output. It’s available from my Etsy store https://etsy.me/2Ah0vhb [VOID Modular] I will also have DIY PCBs as soon as I write a build guide."

VOID ADSR

My ADSR Published on Jul 21, 2018 Sean Pendleton

"More test driving of the ADSR I made. The outputs on the left are normal, attenuverted, and a mix of the two ADSRs attenuverted outputs. There is a switch to turn an incoming gate signal into a trigger if you want your envelope extra snappy. That's also my mixer with mutes next to it and on the top right my 'Brutalist' filter."
