Estradin PX-1100 (RX-1100) Soviet Delay/Reverb Multi effect Ӏ Эстрадин Рх-1000 Ревербератор

video upload by Red Star Melodies

"It was manufacture at one of the biggest soviet radio plant "Estradin" in Zhytomir city where was produced power moog-type synths (Altair-231, Estradin-230, Solaris-314), signal processors and guitar effect pedals in Soviet Union.

PX 1100 can produce warm vintage echo, delay, reverb and chorus effects that can`t be reproduced by modern digital signal processors. It has really wide range of echo effects - from very short resonant self-oscilation delays to long endless repeats, sweet reverbs and weird chorus.

The front panel has knobs: Input, Repeat, Fx Ammount, Timbre, Balance, Volume, Delay, Frequency
Buttons: Bypass, Chorus, Hall, Reverb, Memory, 1/0,25

!!The supply voltage - 220-240V/50Hz. For 110/127V, a voltage converter is necessary!!"

An Interview with Barry Schrader

Hi everyone! As you know Barry Schrader will be giving his farewell concert at CalArts on September 26. The following is the beginning of my interview with him. I opted to post the questions and answers as they come in.  New QAs will get a new post so you do not miss them and they will be added to this post so we have one central post for the full interview. This should make it easier for all of us to consume in our busy lives, and it will allow you to send in any questions that may come to mind during the interview process.  If you have anything you'd like to ask Barry, feel free to send it in to matrixsynth@gmail.com.  This is a rare opportunity for us to get insight on a significant bit of synthesizer history, specifically with early Buchla systems, and I'd like to thank Barry for this opportunity. Thank you Barry!

Butane Star (Cinematic) = OP1+Octatrack+Cocoquantus+Samplr+Particle

Published on Apr 19, 2014 A Box In The Sea·7 videos

"All sounds are from the OP1. I pre-sampled 2 melodies on the Octatrack, chopped and rearranged them with onboard effects. I resampled 1 of those on Samplr, pitched it up and applied onboard effects. The rest of the piece is played and mixed live to 2 track. I have 2 Nano Kontrols, one is for the Octatrack levels and rate for each track and the other is controlling a Big Sky reverb patch. The live OP1 is going 1st into the Red Panda Particle - Big Sky Reverb - Cocoquantus. So many experiments to do with this setup it boggles my mind. Thanks for watching and please feel free to ask any questions."
