"Tara gives us a giddy tour through the tummy of the magnificent beast known as the new Mellotron. Thanks to Big City Music!!!"

The Wonderful Wogglebug

YouTube via MAKEN0ISE. And Burt.
"The Wogglebug is an analog electronic instrument designed by Grant Richter, and inspired by Don Buchla. Grant has been kind enought to make the circuit available to the synth DIY community, and so some of us have built our own WOGGLEBUGS!"

Oberheim Voltage Controlled Filter

via this auction
"Oberheim Voltage Controlled Filter This is a rather rare pedal. It has modes for either an Envelope Follower Filter or a Sample and Hold Filter Made by one of the Original Analog Synthesizer Companies and Tom Oberheim! From the designers of the Oberheim: SEM Oberheim 8 Voice OB-8 The Expander and Matrix 12 as well as the rest of the Matrix Series. Please note... the filter in this pedal is made from discrete transistors and op amps not like the later Oberheims which used custom Chips (like the CEM series)."

NAMM: LinnDrum II Prototype

"Update: January 17, 2008

Happy new year! Today is the first day of the 2008 Winter NAMM Show and, for the first time ever, Dave Smith Instruments is introducing two new products. We'll be showing a prototype of the LinnDrum II Analog (previously announced as BoomChik). It doesn't do much yet, but it's finally more than just a nice Roger Linn rendering. As you might imagine, this is a very software-intensive project, so having hardware is just one step towards completion. But it is a step. And those pads with the blue backlighting are mesmerizing! Check out the LinnDrum II Analog product page for more information."
