YouTube via alittletreasure
"MCA and Burzootie - Drum Machine
from Def Jam 12" .
Produced and Mixed by Jay Burzootie Burnett
Edited by The Latin Rascals"
via Inteliko
"Stumbled on this on youtube, MCA from Beasties rhyming about drum machines..vocals are so heartfelt by me in regard to drum machines..left me smitten. Got to here these lyrics, mention of an oberheim dmx and a lexicon space station also.
"Burzooties on the mix most of the time, he works on the machines but he doesnt really rhyme"...genius vox.., 5:57 of rhymes like these with a fat drum break and electrofied efx."
Update via casio hardcore in the comments: "Classic tune! Just FYI: Jay Burnett originally released this song back in 1982 under the artist name of "Drum Machine". The 12" has a lyrical version (presumably with Jay rhyming) and the instrumental version. The version he does with MCA a few years later is the same song, same concept, different lyrics and different sounds. If you dig this version then I suggest you hunt down the original version ;)"
Klee on MC-202
YouTube via synthdood
"Here is a tune I was working on recently. I wanted to see how the mc-202 would work with the EM Klee. As you can see it works well. The Klee is a bit fast for the mc-202's CPU and you can hear when the mc-202 cant quite track the Klee. The effect sounds really cool! I will be trying this more often."

Korg DVP-1 Vocoder
via this auction
"Apparently somewhat rare 80's vocal processing unit from Korg. Has a nice vocoder, a rather lo-fi harmonizer/pitchshifter, and a bleh synthesizer (good enough for vocoding use, though). Has MIDI."

Yamaha DX-100
"This is Yamaha's 4-operator FM synth based on the popular DX-7. It features an input for a breath controller and a 4-octave 49-note (C-C) keyboard... The DX-100 has Midi In-Out-Thru for great flexibility. Audio output for straight line amplification, or Talkbox use...

Polymoog Coffee Table
be sure to see these
"This is a one-of-a-kind Polymoog synthesizer coffee table. I created this a few weeks ago by building a coffee table into and around a real Polymoog synthesizer body from my parted out and non-functioning late model Polymoog (SN# 4075). It was a pain in the ass to do, not only the physical construction and time, but drawing up accurate panel and keyboard graphics and having them printed up on gloss laminated vinyl for a nice spill proof surface. I built in two drawers with inside dimensions of 13.75"x10.5"x1.75". Total table size is 46" wide, 22" deep, and 20.5" high. I listed it as new, because I built it just for the purpose of selling since I don't have a decent living room setting (had to drag it to somebody else's house for the photos).
If you're into synths, want an interesting conversation piece, want to own something that nobody else has, and want a great and functional coffee table at the same time, then this is the only chance to own this. Great for office lobby, waiting room, or home.
