"Hello to all. This Electronic Music/Experimental Music/Electro-Acoustic Music event, herein known as the BALTIMORE ELECTRONIC MUSIC FEST 2009, is being sponsored by members of The Baltimore SDIY Group & will be a really nice musical endeavor, so we are really looking forward to this day. Please come out & join us for a really fantastic day of knob twisting, pitch bending, wiring mazes, sound shaping & visual explosions that will coincide with an absolutely awesome musical voyage into another galaxy of sound alterations. flickr by Stefan Beckhusen"Vimeo Music Video: HOLY, 20 min meditative ambient india style.
This is the 3rd project which i made with my new Roland MC-909 Groovebox. This time i combined it with the Korg Kaoss Pad and routed 2 sample patches from the MC-909 to the Kaoss Pad.
The style may be unusually for a Groovebox, i'm still exploring the possibilities and don't want to join only the bum-bum section.
The image shows the surface illumination of the Korg Kaoss Pad 3. In the video you'll see it working."
The video link above appears to be the Vimeo version of the YouTube vid just posted here. The Vimeo version is much better as far as quality goes.
Through the Gate
Isotope of Me has a track featuring the KORG EX-800 routed though a DSI Evolver in order to gate a pad with the Evolver's internal sequencer. The track also features the Tip Top Audio Z3000. You can find it here.
