machinedrum idm with juno 106

"messing around with machine drum triggering juno 106. DCO's on the juno? still sound beautiful to me!"

machinedrum loves juno 106

"machine drum triggering juno 106. some ctrl-all action, juno into the md. some random knobs twists - i still don't know much about the md's input machines.

i think this is why i'll never sell the 106. maybe my vco monosynths have a bit more refined sound but that juno saw is still nice.

same for the md. i'm using the user wave version btw. maybe a few samples. i don't know. just got the md out after a long break. mki. chaining two patterns at times."

elektron machinedrum random stream

"random stream from my machinedrum. just flicking through patterns. many with bad feedback so watch your ears.

really not worth watching unless you've watched every other machinedrum video and still want more.

userwave vesion in use."

"Blank expander cartridge used for ESQ-1 synthesizers. Cosmetically looks like new. These are extremely hard to find."

Spectral enso

YouTube via Sigmuntowski. follow-up to this post
"This is a ten minutes excerpt of a new piece from me called "Spectral enso". (Enso is the circle sign of Zen buddhism.)

The drone sound of the music is based upon five layers: 1. a deep filter modulated bass drone (Doepfer MS-404), 2. a very soft rectangular wave drone sound (Yamaha Electone), 3. a looped tampura sample, 4. a very slow and delayed sequence of seven notes, tuned into just intervals to the drone's F base note (Doepfer A-100) and 5. a F major chord (Crumar Multiman S) forced through a phaser.

The video is nothing more than a circle with modulated colors and a moved video feedback, mixed with an image of blue and yellow colors. The video effects are done by TroikaTronix Isadora in real-time.

So this is served best with iced tea and ten minutes nothing to do... ;-)"

"A short video of an annoying patch I've been messing with. Lots of modules used - 3 motm 300's being cross-modulated, getting pitch cv's from the klee sequencer; main clock is the blacet binary zone; clock is being divided by the cgs pulse divider, various odd pulses are kicking several motm 800's which are firing into 3 lpg's, which are shaping the vco's sound; then there's the wogglebug, which is set to this eerie singling clocked setting I found, running through a motm 190 vca controlled by a long ramp wave, then running into a motm 410, feeding stereo outs. Audio captured in cubase, reverb added."

"slightly disorganized session recording.
the pulse gets notes from a x0xb0x.
the TAC mixer (TAC Amek Bullet) souds a lot better than regular "modern" Soundcraft/Mackie/Allen&Heath"

Folktek BCM Edition Micro Garden

YouTube via bigcitymusic
"The Micro Garden is cool little box, equally at home as art or a musical instrument. The BCM edition has super short delay times, tap-tempo, and reverse delay. The front panel is also interesting with the etched circles. The Micro Garden makes sounds we've never heard!"
