sequencing distortion

"Couldn't find a way to get sounds like this on my machinedrum internally. The 'kick' is a weird Cwejman waveform being processed by the even-more-brutal Flight of Harmony Plague Bearer, the snare is being twisted by The Harvestman Malgorithm and there are several other things going where the Tip Top Audio Z3000 are the sources."

"These are original magazine cuttings from a private collection, NOT copies/scans. Cuttings are posted in all board envelopes to avoid damage in the mail."
Experimenting with Electronic Music, 1st ed.

"Published the very same year electro-industrial pioneers Kraftwerk released their breakthrough album "Autobahn," here's a wonderful, rare book covering virtually everything you ever wanted to know about music synthesis and reproduction. Within its pages is an overview of the history of electronic music, from RCA's tube-based Mark I to modern solid-state synthesizers, with photos of the Minimoog and the Moog Sonic Six, as well as the Tonus ARP 2500, 2600, and Soloist consoles. For you tinkerers out there, the book also contains numerous construction projects, including two (2) separate transistorized theremins complete with detailed alignment instructions. All projects come ready-to-build with full schematics and parts lists.
Contents include:

"//Cycle 7831 is my final degree piece for the Digital Music and Sound Arts course at Brighton University, England.
Both sound and image were synthesised from scratch. One of the main techniques used to create the aural component was spectral synthesis, where frames taken from early renders were used to generate sound. The percussive element was created using the usual percussion synthesis techniques, fast mod EG's and so on.
The image was rendered out from Blender in sections then sequenced and edited in After Effects. The audio was imported in stems, analysed, then linked to various effect parameters."

"Originally a surround sound installation presented in a gallery space. My first proper attempt at 3D, so its kind of a work in progress. The main emphasis being on the sound design and sound distribution. Sound and visuals created by myself."

"speed/tone
a hall effect sensor detects the rotation of a spoke-attached magnet. this data is translated into sound via an arduino microcontroller, 8bit R2R DAC, lowpass filter and audio amplifier.
the linkage forms a cognitive loop between the cyclist and their microlocal transportation environment.
