"unified creamware minimax and pro 12 VA synths"

Update via pac in the comments: "Hey this is actually "official", not a DIY thing. It was on sale for a short time before and while creamware went bust. I reassembled it cause I sold my minimax (by mistake) and just got one back. Hence the 2 different 'creamware' logo prints on the machines."

"this is a custom, one of a kind, home altered califone record player from the 60's maybe? it's been made into a filter effect that is controled by a light sensor under the platter that spins. you can take that part off and drill more holes, you can add your own disks for different patterns, there are a lot of possibillities for simple mods. i didn't mess around with the ac circuit too much because i don't want to die from electrical shock and i recomend the same for anybody that buys this and doesn't know much about AC. i added a power light and there is also a ring mod oscillator built in that has two modes: high and low. high puts the carrier freq. in the foreground and low just takes it back behind whatever your's running through it. it has in and out so you can use this like a regular effects pedal without even plugging in the amp. the effect takes a nine volt battery that is mounted an the top for easy access. it comes complete with the latch on cover. feel free to ask any questions and please write me for a price quote on international shipping. the synth in the video is an atari punk console"

PAIA GNOME MICRO SYNTH

via this auction

Not the best pics but the following from the description is interesting: "[from an interview with John Simonton, PAiA Electronics, Inc.]
'While it started out as purely an electronic instrument to make wind sounds, the Gnome turned into one of the smallest, most portable analog synthesizers ever manufactured." [It was also battery powered.] "'The Gnome started out as an instrument that wasn't going to do anything more than make the sound of wind - not like a flute, but real wind. Ssssshhhhew. That kind of wind, which could be played with a little vinyl controller strip that was part of it. The Gnome was one of those things that just grew. After the instrument that did the wind sound was done, it became pretty apparent that you could stick other components in there and essentially come up with a small synthesizer, a thing that captured the central ideas of voltage-controlled synthesis at the time - Oscillators, filters, transient generators, and so on - but stripped down to the essentials or the core. It was an attempt to get rid of that keyboard that was always by far the single most expensive part of anything we made, by order of magnitude or more.'" Includes assembly and users manual.
