KORG M500 Micro Preset

via this auction

"The M-500 puts the sound of the Korg MS-10 in a smaller, more convenient box. The tone is warm, analog, and very 70's--though the Micropreset was used on a number of major synthpop albums in the 80's, including the first two OMD records (listen to the lead on Enola Gay--that's an M-500). The preset sounds on this synth cover a number of different timbres, from high pitched flutes to gurgling synth bass. The filter sounds terrific and it can be modulated. The preset sounds can be mixed and there is the odd addition of random triggering from the noise source. This is the perfect little synth for the stage, since all the sounds are easily accessible from the push buttons. There are plenty of good demos worth watching on Youtube, if you want to hear the synth in action."

"I bought the synthpond app a couple of days ago and here's one of my first experiments with it.

I'm using the synthpond PD patch to controle the FPC in FL studio. The sound generator nodes don't have samples mapped (except for the hi-hats). Only the reactor nodes are mapped to a sample. that way it's a bit easier to "sync" everything.

I have all the channels muted and I unmute them along the way to show you how the patch is built up."
