Korg Electribe EA-1 cleanup and disassembly

Photos from November 2008, cleaned up the EA-1 before I auctioned it off (I was really in need of money, hate that I had to let it go). Made the tune myself on an EA-1 with no added effects or anything, what a fun machine to play with. Hope to get one again, or an ER-1, or maybe several members of the great Electribe family. The interface, the soft sweet buttons, oh sweet goodness.

Taking it apart and cleaning it is a simple straightforward process, but if you're not sure what to do or want some tips, comment and I'll help you out the best I can from my memory."

"this synth seems to do a thing where it will play up to four notes with one oscillator each, or if you only play one note it'll assign all the oscillators to it (or two OSCs each for two notes, etc.)."

I don't think this is the case. Anyone confirm this either way?
