Shipping News by David Morley - ARP 2500 Modular synthesizer demonstration

YouTube via buchla300

"Here is a demo of the ARP 2500 modular I made. No other instrument was used.
My objective was to show off the range of the instrument in a musical context.

Please visit http://www.davidmorley.com and check out my other works and a better quality version of "Shipping News"

The video was something I knocked up in iMovie just in time for the Oscars...
Multitracked in Logic 8. Mixed on my D&R Orion desk. Reverb came from my EMT 246 and an Eventide H3000 was used for delay. "

Europa sequencer playing TBX303 demonstrating Accent & Slide

YouTube via ASUKLTD
"Brief demo featuring the Europa sequencer playing the TBX303 303 clone.
Demonstrating Accent & Slide features of the TBX. Europa can activate this. The combo makes a great and accurate 303 partnership. Though of course the Europa will do far more than just sequence a 303 line!"

Yamaha CS-15 with Original Case

via this auction

"The Yamaha CS-15 is equipped with 2 complete VCO's, VCF's, VCA's, and EG's. In theory, it is two separate monophonic, or "duophonic" systems. There are also many sound source routing possibilities, which lends a semi-modular approach to sound synthesis. Please check out the reviews at harmony central or vintage synths for a more comprehensive understanding of it's operational capabilities."

Korg Electribe EA-1 cleanup and disassembly

YouTube via Mamiya645 inside a KORG EA-1
"Warning: Might be loud :)

Photos from November 2008, cleaned up the EA-1 before I auctioned it off (I was really in need of money, hate that I had to let it go). Made the tune myself on an EA-1 with no added effects or anything, what a fun machine to play with. Hope to get one again, or an ER-1, or maybe several members of the great Electribe family. The interface, the soft sweet buttons, oh sweet goodness.

Taking it apart and cleaning it is a simple straightforward process, but if you're not sure what to do or want some tips, comment and I'll help you out the best I can from my memory."
