Roland JU-2 Alpha Juno-2 Synthesizer Aftertouch Repair
"This synth works properly and all functions work, though as with almost all Roland Synths of this era, the aftertouch on the keyboard does work but is not very responsive, and the aftertouch strip could be cleaned/de-oxidized to improve its response. This is a known problem with these synths. I have posted a link below [link] to an article describing the cleaning process. I also had the rotary encoder for the Alpha Dial professionally replaced recently with the proper Roland part because it had started to act a little flaky, so you can rest assured that it should continue to function well for years to come. Cosmetically, it is in good shape. There is a very small chip missing from the underside of the highest ("C") key, as you can see from the pictures. There are no dents or scratches on the top, back, and sides of the case, and there are a couple very minor scratches on the bottom of the case from normal wear and tear. Some of the screws holding the case are slightly oxidized and could be replaced, but this does not affect their functionality in any way."
Op-1 at the museum

"If you want to see Op-1 live and for real it is now shown at the Architectural Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. The unit shown is one of the first five pre-production units. The exhibition called Design for life is open for 2 months."
