"Some noises made with RPG-8s in reason 4 with some thor synths"
Chimera Synthesis BC9
"bC9 synthesizer –Based on the popular bC8 synthesiser/sequencer, the bC9 offers the same astonishing range of sounds with the ability to externally modulate any possible combination of the eight main control knobs, including the infamous ‘patch’ control; a ninth knob controls the depth of external modulation...
The semi-transparent frosted body diffuses the light from the ten LED’s that logically show various conditions and processes (warning: mesmerising).
Connections
CV input: 3.5mm jack socket (near yellow VCO knob): 0v to 5v Trig input: 3.5mm jack socket (centre): 2 to 10v Audio out: 3.5mm stereo jack socket (near grey volume knob), drives headphones.
Indicators
10 separate LED’s of various colours. Aside from showing the current status of the LFO, envelope generator, battery and external trigger. The LED’s also show the modulation destinations when the black push-button is pressed. External CV voltage shown by the ‘analog’ LED by the black push-button.
Knobs
1st knob, yellow - VCO frequency 2nd knob, yellow - VCO & LFO modulation depth control 3rd knob, blue - Waveshapes for VCO and LFO 4th knob, blue - LFO speed 5th knob, green - External CV modulation depth control 6th knob, red - Attack, envelope generator 7th knob, red - Release, envelope generator 8th knob, green - Patch control 9th knob, grey - Volume control
Controls
On-Off switch (right-hand toggle) Envelope mode (left-hand toggle) >up=auto-repeat, centre=single shot (no sustain), down=single shot (sustain allowed). Black push-button >press to see and modify the external modulation-destination. Red push-button >triggers envelope generator, effectively in parallel with external trigger
Battery
3x AAA cells, alkaline or rechargeable types. Supplied allen key loosens four screws to allow stainless steel base plate to be removed.
Unibody construction
CNC machined from a solid lump of transparent acrylic polymer, hand frosted with alumina. Stainless steel base plate/battery lid. Four rubber feet.

Blofeld Sounds pt3...
YouTube via vinyljunkie07 — May 13, 2010 — "My patches pt3....ALL BLOFELD and no external processing OR EQ or Comp etc...
Was going to upload this a while back...I really wanted to let people hear this thing in ((( STEREO ))) as that's how it should be heard so here it is...making some lovely digital textures...why make a synth like this sound analogue or model analogue when it's not really that and when we have analogue synths...much like why make a analogue synth sound digital...sacrilege!
This thing is made to complement analogue :-)
Any way first few sounds are your bog standard shit it's capable of..then later on it gets very good even if I do say so my self lol
I got some more vids coming up soon about synths hopefully if I have some time to shoot them..so for the moment here is a pic of my rack and some sounds haha"
ARP 2600 pt2 : classic Lead & Bass
YouTube via shaft9000 — May 13, 2010 — "Recorded through Allen&Heath ZED R16's A/D converters with no EQ or processing.
I recently had recapped and modified my early 70's Tonus-logo ARP 2600 synthesizer. Everything works great now, plus my tech added extended FM and keyboard/LFO functions - even better than new! You can achieve these sounds using a stock 2600 as well, but mine has a few paths re-routed for convenience, also a rebuilt key-assembly, filter and PSU, an extra LFO etc."
Squidfanny - GLITCH-BITCH 1 (again.....)
YouTube via squidfanny — May 13, 2010 — "GLITCH-BITCH 1 is going up for sale on ebay.....
Lots of Bitchin' Glitchin' from scrambled speech circuits and precision oscillator.
Possibly the most bizzare electronic musical instrument on Ebay (so far?).
Recorded with some reverb to take the edge off aliasing noise."
