BugBrand Drone Machine

via this auction
"BugBrand DroneMachine - Portable Modular Synth
At the end of 2006 I built 5 DroneMachines (no easy task!), keeping one for my own use. Now that I've launched the BugModular range I don't use this portable system so much and feel that it could be better loved by going to a new home. Do note that there are a few smudges and dings on the outside case, and that the main panel has a few marks (see pictures below).

There's a description with three YouTube videos on my BugBrand Archive site here.

It may also be worth having a check of my current Modular System Details as the colour schemes for banana sockets are the same.

The main features include: Audio Input section, Ring Modulator, Voltage Invertors, 3 x Thomas Henry XR-VCO, Voltage Controlled Filter, Digital Delay, Output Mixer.

The system uses 4mm banana cables and comes supplied with a selection of 24 cables of various lengths and colours (not shown in the pictures).

The main input and output sockets are located on the back panel (an etched PCB) and these are standard mono 1/4".

The DroneMachine runs off an external 12V AC wallwart (not the more common DC supply!) - I will supply a suitable AC Wallwart dependent on the winning bidder's location as I have stocks of UK, Euro and US supplies.

Note that the lid is NOT removable from the case. And I don't now have any keys to lock it either!

Shipping Weight: 3kg"

BugBrand Weevil06

via this auction
"Finally! After 5 years in the dark dungeon that has been the BugBrand Workshop I am just about to move to a better place! Over that time I have picked up quite a stack of bits'n'pieces and it is really time to have a serious clear-out -> to clear space, to pass on unused items and to generate some funds for setting up the new workshop. So! Over the next few weeks I will be running several Ebay auctions... BugBrand Weevil06 - my personal prototype

This is an early Weevil from 2006 painted in Brown with an insect touchplate (which was a standard design for the Weevil06) in good condition other than a few little scratches here and there (see pictures). The main difference from regular production ones is that there is a switch on the underside to switch the internal mini-amp-speaker on and off -> in the production versions I changed it so that inserting a jack plug would automatically disconnect the internal speaker.

For more details & sounds see the BugBrand Archive listing here.
There is also a PDF instruction sheet here.

Supplied with a fresh PP3 9v battery.
Shipping Weight: 1.00kg"

See BugBrand's other listings. I'll be posting the BugBrand items.
