"The Commuter has lost his dog.
This adds to his stress as he struggles
to deal with the daily grind of commuting
and working for a high flying corporation.
Will he find MacGruder ? Will he be erased
by his evil boss ? Will reading The Da Vinci
Code erode his mind into the shape of a
Knights Templar Keyring ? Will the main
theme reprise after the piano breakdown ?
All your queries will be answered as you
enter the world of: Commuter.
Starring Joe Deal, Andy Jenkinson and Poppy.
Special guest appearances from Ali White,
Lenny Kravitz and Punky"
"I teach an electronics music course at the AS220 labs. This video captures the day we experimented with different homemade musical gadgets, making sweet beautiful noise."
"Burnkit2600 band member Thomas Uliasz gives you a guided tour of the inner workings and evolution of the Kawasaki iSoundz guitar toy into a workable instrument. Gaze in amazement at the process by which he dismantles a device only to rebuild it: better, faster, stronger than before. Witness his creative process in action as he decides how best to utilize his meager tools. Watch as 24 of his life dissipate into thin air; all for the love of noise.
Burnkit2600 are a band. We make music with improvised electronic devices, circuit bent gear, 8-bit video game systems, analog synths (including a MicroMoog and Rogue :), drum machines, and samplers. We also craft our own circuits and modify gear for ourselves and do commissioned work for a lucky few others. Our website demystifies our sound by showing folks how to make instruments like ours."
Circuit-Bending the Kawasaki iSoundz Guitar with Burnkit2600 - part 2
YouTube via rrr00bb | October 23, 2010 Be careful not to turn this one up too much. Voice is low, but synth isn't. "mugician's sound brain in some experimental instruments. (one that is still to ugly to be shown as well) 99% of the initial work is always in the user interface though."
