polychord

"Whether you're an accomplished musician or an absolute beginner, you're going to love polychord. Developed exclusively for the iPad™.
What does it do?

Polychord is drums, bass, chords, and accompaniment all wrapped into one. Simply press one of the chord circles and your on your way to writing a song. Drums and bass follow the chords automatically, but the coolest part is probably the strum keys on the right: simply swipe your finger over the yellow keys to strum a chord."

[caknobs] KORG Rhythm-55B(KR55B) PSS-50 Roland SH-101 YAMAHA ED-10 jam (Full analog groove)

video upload by Caknobs - November 16, 2010

"1982年発売のKORG Rhythm-55BのトリガーアウトでSH-101の内臓シーケンサーのクロックを制御しています。ボーカルはWarpFactory(ボコーダー)に入れてエレクトリックノリを強調してみました。ボコーダーの波形制御はPSS50でやってます。
I think that this set is a kind of Acidtrack made from KR55B + SH-101, and vocoder increases flavor in the 80's.

Analogue Solutions Station X Y Mini-Modular Synthesizer(s): Fun with Noise

YouTube via rezfilter | November 15, 2010

"Here's a look at the Station X mini-modular synth and its complimentary counterpart, the Station Y by Analogue Solutions [www.analoguesolutions.com].

Station synths are compact "mini-modular" synthesisers. They contain all the essential ingredients to form complete synth patches.

This video features some random patches & finally some clangorous "noise" for your listening enjoyment. Although the video features some very quirky sounds and effects, the range of the X,Y synths, with their modulation possibilities, is virtually infinite.

*Also used: Oberkorn MK3 analogue sequencer (to sequence loops)

Synth Details: *Pure analogue voice circuitry *Fully patchable *Compact modular synth *Available as a module (without case) *Plenty of modulation possibilities *Rugged steel construction. *MIDI In for software sequencer / keyboard control."

Quantimator - simple scale / ASR mode

Modules involved in this demo: Quantimator, MakeNoise pressure points, MFB OSC-02 Triple VCO, and a VCA."

Squarewave Parade Ming Ming Stereo Analog Ring Mod

via this auction

"Here is a description from the Squarewave Parade website:

'yet another silly name. this is a stereo ( dual mono ) analog passive ring ( or "balanced" ) modulator that is also capable of producing an octave up if only one input is used (achieved via internal switching - there are no other controls). unlike most ring modulators you will find this one does not come with a built in oscillator. this is done on purpose to give you the chance to use your own modulator and as a result it gives you a much wider range of possibilities. everything from AM radio static to tempo matched drum loops can be used to modulate your source. use of line level instruments like synths, mixers, and sound cards would be ideal. being a passive design ( meaning it does not require any power source to operate ) you will need to increase the level of quieter signals, such as guitar, to get the ring to work. you can do this by adding a pre-amp, booster, distortion pedal, channel of a mixer, etc... before that input. you may also want to boost the output depending on your intentions. its made with hand matched germanium diodes for minimal signal bleed which i also matched between each of the two units inside. the transformers on the input and output will also yield a nice thick organic distortion when over-driven.'"
