Rare Latronic Notron MkII Midi Step Sequencer

via this auction

"Only about 150 Notrons were made, and production on them has been discontinued. So, already, it is a collectible instrument and will surely increase in value as time passes...

It does different reset points for each sequence, can output 4 different sequences, It does LFO shapes, wierd ass stuttering things, step length stuff, pitch bend and mod wheel macros, chords on steps, some time-stretching emulation sort of tricks, delays, strums and reversals. Some of the other neat stuff was being able to group changes across multiple steps, and all of it in real time. Pretty wild box.

"The probably funkiest Bassline of all Times played on a Moog Prodigy-

Though it is originally played on an Arp Odyssey, i think i quite nailed the sound..

If you wanna have patch sheets for Moog Sounds, just ask- i love to check out new sounds"

"Here's my screaming banshee! I love its deep blue....
The Korg MonoPoly has 4 oscillators to mess around with, and the modulations possibilities are such that 9 times out of 10, something is doing something to something through the other thing. This vintage knob-twiddling is rounded out by the usual suspects: SH-5, SH-101 and Machinedrum MkII. Try listening with speakers that have good bass response!"

"A demonstration of some of the wonderful filters of the SH-5, the superb monosynth from 1976. I also added some ring modulation, and played with the ADSR envelope. Its backing band features an SH-101, a MonoPoly, and, holding down the beat, Machinedrum MKII."
