"A live improv using the wonderful Bugbrand modular system, all sounds and sequences are from the Bug system."
Metasonix Click Beatz
YouTube via plague1715 | December 21, 2010 |
"Trying to use the Metasonix R-54 in the same manner as the D1000, by ringing the resonant filter with short trigger pulses. The only audio path here is the R-54 into the R-51. The rest of the patch sets up a fairly complex network of digital gates and logic, and the Pressure Points monophonically opens the QMMG as a vca which selects 4 different gate sources to be injected into the gate network."

Squidfanny - Circuit Bent BEAT SOUND ANALOG DRUM / MIDI-TRIGGER
YouTube via squidfanny | December 21, 2010 |
squidfanny on eBay
"'Beat sound electronic drum' Fully Analog Drum Synthesizer, very heavily modified and retro-fitted with MIDI-TRIGGER converter.
Both machines have similar mods, ie Pitch, Decay, Overdrive, Distortion, Glitch, Oscillators, etc. However mods are implemented differently on each machine, thus both machines have a distinctivly different sound.
One machine is geared up to produce synthesizer sounds with loads of modulation between the 4 channels and various filtering and distortion.
The other machine functions as a 909 style analog drum synth, with impossibly deep Bass / Kik, touch points for triggering the drum circuits by hand, and seperate outputs for the 4 channels.
MIDI-TRIGGER converter provides 23 x 5 volt Trigger outputs & Accent for driving other machines and DIY creations.
Miraculously I managed to fit the entire unit, 24 jack sockets & 29 x Flashing LED lights inside the machine (along with 22 x new knobs, 12 x switches and a shocking amount of cable)...
The Trigger unit works really well, buy one from engineers@work :)"
MIDI-TRIGGER Test / D.I.Y. Glitch techno
squidfanny | December 21, 2010 |
"Some Circuit Bent gear, triggered with MIDI via my MIDI-TRIGGER converter.
Just a quick test, for fun only...
Machines used -
A pair 'Beat Sound' Analog Drum Synths, A CASIO SK-5 Sampler, Yamaha DD-6 & Yamaha DD-8. Obviously all machines are heavilly circuit bent, and fitted with trigger inputs.
MIDI-TRIGGER converter is fitted inside one of the 'Beat Sound's' and provides 23 x 5volt trigger outputs and an Accent output."
