Bursting

Bursting by starvelab
"Wiard Wogglebug controlling the Dewanatron Triple Slice and Wiard Borg Filter. A little LFO action from a Wiard Oscillator and a Moogerfooger CP-251. Everything is running mono into a Holy Grail Nano. Codeine pleasure orbs bursting along copper wire and honey-drops."

"Worked out this track to play live on 'The City Rises', a weekly radio show on 3RRR fm.

I'm using an older version of the software MLRV, soon to be released here: parallelogram.cc/mlrv/

Still a work in progress..."

"Trent, that wonderful Galapagoose, lent me one of his monomes. This is my first monome track. All done live, no edits, lots of errors."

World's longest in-service Polysix original battery?

via Russ
"Well, maybe not, but certainly has to be in the running. A buddy of mine brought another PolySix by the shop today to have the ORIGINAL memory battery replaced -- it had been in continuous service since the synth was newly minted in 1981. 30 year-old NiCad battery still going strong; It measured 4.02 volts when it was replaced today, strictly as a measure of precaution.

While the battery was still in great shape, there were some signs of the beginning of leakage on the negative terminal, but only if you knew what you were looking for.

Dated receipt in the photo to show when the battery was replaced.

We're thinking of submitting the battery to the Smithsonian or Ripley's..."
