43 Quantizer Aid

"This is the second part on the synthesizers.com quantizers Q171 and Q172. Here I focus on the Q172 quantizer aid and it's programmable note groups. Using a MIDI keyboard I program some notes into the note groups and the shift around between them. Last I do a little SID impersonation using an envelope for a real quick arpeggio on top of a sequence. The sound source is a Buchla 259e Complex Waveform Generator tweaked to play nice with a 1V/oct system."

Mattson Mini Modular DIY - MISC Pics

Final set of pics from my visit to Mattson Mini Modular.

MMM DIY modules in various formats. The stacks of PCBs are individual modules. The bottom pic is MMM Production Prototype #1 which has a Syntar filter module. Not technically DIY, but thought I'd include it in the set.

For those new to Mattson Mini Modular, you'll note the format of the modules in the prototype is unique to them. To accommodate other formats MMM offers their modules in DIY kits. You can find more info on their website linked above.
