Mattson Mini Modular New Starter 6-pack Case

via Mattson Mini Modular
"I have a new "starter" case that holds six MMM modules.

It measures 4.5" H X 21-3/4" W X 5" D

I made the depth longer than my standard 3.5" 12 module cabinets in order for them to remain stable when stacked.

They have wood rails that can be removed and replaced if they get stripped out over time. Modules are mounted using a #6 X 1/2" sheet metal screw.

The cases require an external +/-15VDC power supply. ElPac stopped making the wall warts I was using. I found another supply. But, it's a line lump capable of 50Watts. That's enough juice to power up to 36 modules comfortably. Or, six, 6-packs or three of my 12 module standard cabinets.

Because of this, I dropped the price of my cabinets and no longer include the power supply. The supply is $82.00 from Newark with a $20.00 drop ship fee per order. I'm encouraging customers to order them direct from the distributors.

It actually works out, instead of paying $38.00 for one supply per cabinet. The cabinets can be daisy-chained from one supply allowing the initial cost for the supply to be spread out. It ends up being less costly as the system expands. For distributing the DC between cabinets, I've added a DC out DIN connector to the cabinets and offer a DC interconnect cable on my cart in the enclosures section.

The nice part about these supplies is that they can take anywhere from 90 VAC to 240 VAC, 50 or 60 HZ. They're RoHS compliant and the customer can grab whatever AC cord they require for their region when they order them. No more step up or step down transformers.

Distrubutor URLs are listed in my cart but, I do have a few supplies in stock that I carry as a convenience to customers who wish to just have the power supply shipped with their system."

Retro 1960's style PVC Dust Covers for the VCS3

"Custom (hand made by a professional dressmaker) see-through PVC cover for an EMS SYNTHI VCS3 synthesizer. Fantastic 1960's retro design ( think 'Barbarella' ) complements one of the nicest looking synths on this or any other planet!"

Update via popman in the comments: "No, it is not the same Keyboard. You will notice that on this one, the keys themselves don't light up.
Actually, it was a Kb especially build for this live show were every 5 key group triggers a light pad above.

Other thing about this loive show : a big battery of ARP2600 on stage and the very first appearance of Roland D70 on stage."
