NOTEPLEX App - iPAD NOISE BEAT Industrial IDM Ambient - Play Button as Trigger
YouTube Uploaded by VJFranzK on Mar 14, 2011
"It's not just for "cute" tunes. ;-) Running the output through the Kaoss Mini (to add more effects variation) on my custom Mantaray iPad "guitar frame". Note the technique of triggering the sequence manually using the play button, instead of leaving the "pulsar" on automatic. See my previous NotePlex video for an introduction to this interesting App."

Insanic4 Live Improvisation
YouTube Uploaded by insanic4 on Mar 13, 2011
"Here is a live improvisation I made. I use the JazzMutant Lemur to control the digital mixer that runs on my Sonic Core 18 DSP Scope PCI system. The level meters on the Lemur are controlled by a MIDI signal which is generated by a Scope Modular 4 patch that converts the level of the audio signal to a MIDI control change message. The Cubase arrangement is pretty empty with only one MIDI track which is controlling the JV-1080 pad sound. The rest of the sequence runs on the Nord Modular G2 and the Machinedrum. The drums from the Machinedrum run through my brand new T.C. Electronic FireworX which I bought three days ago. The FireworX is controlled by the Nocturn controller box. No softsynths or softeffects where used in this track, it's all hardware."

"The bluebox pocket synthesizer can also be used as a drum box, that can synthesize drum sounds that you simply can't make on any other drummachine. Unlike most synthesizers it can also process noise in all stages in the synthesis.
* 72 preset sounds, that can be edited and saved.
* Sounds are saved and retained in flash memory.
* One octave keyboard, with real-time access to 3 octaves.
* Free sound editor for MIDI control via your computer.
* MIDI-in: Syncs to MIDI clock, Responds to Program Change, Pitch Bend, Note Velocity, Expression Controller, Breath Controller, full parameter control by CC messages and more.
* MIDI-out: Notes, Program Change, mod. wheel, CC and more is available via breakout cable."

New age guitar jam.

"Worked on this sporadically throughout the March break. The modular warps and attempts to drown out an eight second loop music recorded on an Akai Headrush with some live guitar sprinkled on top."
