The Discovery (Beverly Hills Cop) - Syntesen's SD-50 Remake!
YouTube Uploaded by syntesen on May 16, 2011
"So I've been playing around with my Roland SD-50 "workstation synth" (it's based on the Roland Fantom series workstations, sadly it's not really programmable, but with Midi CC's you can play around with the almost 2000 presets), and...
I decided to cover this great track made by Harold Faltermeyer on the Beverly Hills Cop 1 soundtrack. It's from the scene where Axel Foley and Jenny Summers discovers the cocaine hidden by the coffee grounds in the warehouse. :P
I hope you like it! :D

'What If' - original piano instrumental on Eigenharp Alpha
YouTube Uploaded by gbevin on May 16, 2011
"http://eigenzone.org - This is one of the original instrumental piano pieces that I've been composing on the Eigenharp Alpha. I'm still contemplating on adding vocals over it and turning it into a song, but I'm not totally convinced yet.
However, after many months of keeping this under the wraps, I though it was time to record a video with the factory piano sound since I think it's stunningly beautiful and responds wonderfully well to dynamics.
Hope you enjoy it.
I you like this performance, you can download the lossless audio file from SoundCloud for free:

Witchsphere: Hawkwind cover (Korg EA1 ER1 EM1 Electribe + KP3 + Kaossilator)
YouTube Uploaded by witchsphere on Mar 6, 2011
"Electro cover of a Hawkwind classic. Korg EA1, Korg EM1, Korg ER1 Electribe, KP3 & Kaossilator. File under Hawkwind covers.
Hardware only. Vocals & samples overdubbed afterwards. Synths just as they are.. no overdubs.. quite some noise from just the 3 Electribes eh?
The EA1 provides the main synth sounds, the ER1 the space sweeps & bleeps, and the EM1 the drum and bass.
The Korg Kaossilator is used for deep ambient tones you can just about make out filling the mid-range.
Hawkwind's 'You Shouldn't Do That' written by Nick Turner / Dave Brock and originally recorded by Hawkwind. This cover version is recorded by Witchsphere.

XOXBOX w/SokkOS

via this auction
"ITEM DESCRIPTION
This x0xb0x is in 100% working order and very clean. It was built from a Willzyx kit, so all of the rare parts are original and not copies as sold by less reputable x0xb0x dealers. Yes, there is a difference and I suggest you do some research before buying any x0xb0x. I'm an experienced builder & tech, so the unit is very well built. I also installed SokkOS 1.9, which is much better than the standard OS in my opinion.
I measured all of the 2SA733 transistors before installing them and selected the highest gains for Q10 (332hFE), Q9 (315hFE), & Q8 (309hFE). If you don't know why that's important, read this. The result is a filter that cracks, warbles, and bubbles beautifully. I think it's very difficult to hear the difference between this x0xb0x and an original TB-303. I have experience with both synths. The Adafruit x0xb0x was voted the best sounding TB-303 clone by Acid Voice.
This auction includes the x0xb0x unit, AC power adapter, and a hardcopy of the Build Manual, which tells you how to test, calibrate, and tune the unit."
