"You think you're a man" - on some Casio keyboards
YouTube Uploaded by organfairy on Jul 13, 2011
Divine.
"I hope you don't mind that the picture is back on the old quality level again. The reason is that I haven't made more videos lately with the new camera but I still have some unfinished or unpublished videos on my harddrive that is shot with the old - now dead - camera. So untill I have finished those it will be a mixture of clear and slightly blurry pictures.
I have been known to occasionally play Casio toy keyboards. This time I am playing some entry level keyboards with "Normal" keys. But still in the relatively cheap range. The song I play is "You think you're a man" which was a hit for drag queen and singer Devine in the mid 1980's"
And of course the one and only original Divine:

DIVINE - YOU THINK YOU'RE A MAN (Extended Video Edit)
Uploaded by bsedits on Sep 5, 2008
"In the 1980s, Divine ( born Harris Glenn Milstead, 1945-1988 ) released several dance music records which were club hits in the USA, Europe and Australia.
This Pete Waterman produced song "You Think You're A Man" was Divine's most successful U.K. hit, reaching #16. The song was also a Top 10 hit in Australia, reaching #8.
Here you can find my re-edited 12" version of the funny video, with all the lyrics of that amazing club classic. Hope you'll enjoy it !!!"
Killpatrick Audio K2579 Step Sequencer
Modular Synth: K2579 Step Sequencer
YouTube Uploaded by KilpatrickAudio on Jul 9, 2011
The K2579 Step Sequencer is a compact and powerful eurorack step sequencer that fits in only 14HP. It supports two simultaneous parts and has a full MIDI and analog implementation. In addition to being fully programmable, it also has excellent real-time playback and performance features which allow the use of the front panel and external CV inputs for flexible playback manipulation.

"The K2579 is a compact and powerful programmable two-part modular sequencer and performance instrument. It supports simultaneous input, output and control via analog and MIDI connections and nearly all programming and performance parameters can be modified in real-time. More than just a simple step sequencer, the K2579 allows sequences to be built, arranged, modified and controlled seamlessly. The entire unit is programmed through a simple interface consisting of an LCD, two knobs and seven buttons. Eight front-panel jacks allow patching the CV/GATE output pairs, inputting clock and reset signals, and inputting two continuous voltages which can be mapped onto various performance parameters for real-time control from other modules.
Up to 16 sequences of 16 steps each (per part) can be loaded at once. Sequences can be chained together, looped or completely controlled manually. The unit features a built-in clock for convenience, but can also sync to an external analog clock pulse or MIDI clock. Using the MIDI functionality requires a K1600 MIDI Converter or other breakout device for interfacing the MIDI signals.
The K2579 Step Sequencer brings new potential to the world of modular synthesis by offering new ways of making music. Building on the success of the K4815 Pattern Generator, the K2579 is a step sideways. Where the K4815 excels in fast creation of rhythms and melodies based on intelligently designed ingredients, the K2579 offers user control over every note and function, and also offers twonote polyphony by supporting two parts per sequence.

Gotharman's PitchShaper
via Gotharman where you'll find audio demos."A pitch matching/shaping/warping 14 hp module using granular technology.
-The audio signal applied to input 2 will be re-pitched to match the pitch of the audio signal applied to input 1. The re-pitched input 2 signal will be the output. Will only pitch-match correctly on monophonic signals.
-Since this module works directly on audio, instead of pitch to CV or pitch to MIDI, anything can be pitch-matched to anything.
-By adjusting or modulating the controls, it is possible to obtain granular effects far away from pitch-matching.
-Ultra fast pitch-tracking system.
-24 bit/44.1 KHz highend digital audio path ensures a warm and smooth sound, that fits perfect to a high quality analogue modular system."
Mutable Instruments Shruthey Patch Editor and Sequencer
via Mutable Instruments"Here’s some notes:
- As you may know, not all the Shruthi-1 parameters are reachable by CC/NRPN so some need to be updated by sending a SysEx dump of the patch. Those blocks have the “no cc” label and they won’t update until small delay after you stop moving the knob. That is, they’re not “real time.”
- Currently works with the LPF-only (SMR-4 and ??) and SVF filter boards.
- The Arp and Seq settings save with the patch, which is not how it works on the Shruthi-1 (so I labelled those blocks with “*”). I thought this would be convenient, and it is, but after using it I realize it can be annoying sometimes. I’ll add a switch or something to allow you control whether that gets sent when you load a patch.
- Any presets you save in the Max patch now should probably be transferable to a future version, but since it’s new I can’t promise 100% I won’t do something to mess that up.
- Patches sent to the Shruthi-1 are not saved! They are just in temporary memory. If you wan’t to permanently store it on the Shruthi-1 you do it on the synth in the usual way."
