Squidfanny - Circuit Bent 'Space Adventure' Keyboard
Uploaded by squidfanny on Jul 13, 2011
squidfanny on eBay
"Lo-Fi Electronic keyboard with added Filth...
Loads of circuit bending on this machine - Added pitch Knob, Over-Clock Glitch Knob & Feedback Oscillator.
Also Installed a Lo-Fi Effects Processor cannibalized from an old Voice Changer Machine... This provides 4 x Lo-Fi Digital Effects, with mix Knob, and a couple of modulation knobs to twist, Mangle and generally Disrupt the sounds.
Over-Clock Glitch Knob generates all manner of bizzarre phrases and corrupted melodies.
I tend to avoid the really lo-fi keyboards, but this one has a nice bleepy sound to it, which I like."
Squidfanny - DIY Logic Bass / Arp. Synth

"Part Squarewave Synth, part workshop Tool.
This machine is built from a handful of Logic 4000 IC's, a few Vactrol's and a Lo-Fi Effects Processor from an old Voice Changer Toy -
Two Gates on a 4093 generate a pair of Oscillators, first 'Clock' Oscillator Drives a 4040 acting as a Frequency Divider. The Divided down Frequencies are then used to drive a 4051 Multiplexer, which cycles it's gates through a resistance ladder used to modulate the second 'Tone' Oscillator from the 4093.
Finaly a 4017 is used to generate an 8-Step Sequencer, which is driven by the Frequency Divider and used as a pitch Accent.
Metal bolts are used to patch / Re-Patch the modules and are very useful in the workshop, to measure oscillations and sequence DIY gear.
Thanks to Nick Collins and the rest of the internet for ideas, and schematics :)"

Monotonic Buchla
YouTube Uploaded by djangosfire on Jul 13, 2011
"Manually triggered . . . kind of 1/2 random Buchla 200e patch. 1959 Martin jacked into the mix via the 285e ringmod, w/ the internal 285e OSC tuned to "E" - made for some odd "alien modal improv"."

JoeLMutantE x0xb0x Mods TB-303 Devilfish
YouTube Uploaded by JoeLMutantE on Jul 1, 2011
"This is my last x0xb0x project. They are two x0xb0x beauties full of acid and mods inside. They have been made on hard steel cases and with a hard cover plexiglass. Auto powered inside, no needed to carry external PSU and finished with cool-retro style wood side ends. Knobs made on aluminium alloy and white leds.
Inside them, we have some accent increased, sub-bass sound loudest than anyone x0xb0x made, ENV and MOD tweakings, 4 different distortion types like Highpass/Low pass distortions and warm/cool analog electronic distortion...etc etc and so many more!!
Sound in this video could be extremely low and extremely high too !! so please take care of your speakers; to avoid damages on them, be moderate with the master volume.
あなたがそれをお楽しみください!"

"This is an awesome and unique x0xb0x TB-303 clone in a devilfish modification style, very rare and limited. Its structure is the same as an “standard” x0xb0x so you can get a perfect clone of that bassline Roland TB-303.
· Hard steel case for the enclosure, forget that standard cheap/crappy plastic cases that usually comes with all x0xb0x.
· Wood ends on the sides of the hard steel case that brings a very special feeling on the machine, and a super cool retro/vintage style.
· This version has its own power supply inside, so you must only use the standard cable (included) on a 220V wall plug and switch on the power button on the x0xb0x to get it fully functional.
· The advantage of these modifications is that ALL have been made to be reversible. So if you don’t turn ON any of them, you still have the original sound of an standard x0xb0x. It’s like having 2 kind of x0xb0x at the same time.
· The leds used are clear style, flat ones and with super bright cool white color. Note that on the video they seems to be clear blue but it’s only an optic effect, they are really cool white, not warm white, this is why they seemed to be bluish.
· To finish the exterior of that deluxe x0xb0x we have used aluminum style knobs for all the controls! Even the main ones used to control the sequencer. They are so cool and have a unique feeling on touch.
· 128 patterns can be stored as a standard x0x with 16 notes each one.
· 64 tracks up to 16 patterns each can be chained to make complete songs.
· Midi sync on input and output, this feature is not available on the original Roland TB-303 and it is probably one of the best features/adds of the x0x.
· The x0xb0x can be used too as a midi controller or keyboard midi controller, and also as a cool sequencer for all your midi stuff.
· 20 to 200 bpm
· 4 octaves VCO
· Bass Boost ON/OFF
· Accent increase ON/OFF
· Decay mod to control by knob a shorter or longer decay sound.
· Resonance Boost ON/OFF
· Resonance LEVEL to control by knob the value increased/decreased.
· ENV mod controlled by 2 switches, ON/OFF and type.
· Filter mod VCO controlled by 2 switches, ON/OFF and type, plus a knob the value increased/decreased.
· Filter mod VCA to control by knob the value increased/decreased.
· Muffler distortion controlled by 2 switches, one control the type(2 types) and the other controls the frequency (LOW/HIGH).
· Distortion knob to control the value increased/decreased."

Geared Up: Ke$ha - Jennifer Stone Interview
YouTube Uploaded by rolandmedia on Jul 5, 2011
"At the center of Ke$ha's live sound is her keyboardist, Jennifer Stone, who never expected her musical career to lead her from Nashville to being on stage with one of music's biggest stars. We caught up with Jennifer during a stop over in Los Angeles at Roland's AR offices where we had the chance to talk gear with Jennifer, including her latest discovery and secret weapon, the Lucina AX-09."
