"The definitive beatbox for creating songs and rhythms!
With a library of 160 sounds, use your creative skills to assign them to each of the 8 tracks available per pattern, activate or deactivate each of the 16 steps that make up a track using the buttons or the stylus, and combine the 8 patterns to compose up to 64 songs.
If you want to produce a more complex tune, you can customize each step and set the volume, change the frequency and assign a panning.
Like a professional DJ, create and play in real time!
Once you have laid down your patterns, you can use them to create much more complicated rhythms in the Song mode, where you can add them to a sequence of up to 32 parts and change their length, activate/deactivate tracks, add repeats, etc.
"Music on: Drums" includes a pre-recorded Song."

Kaossilator - Harry Hysteria

"And here's the one you've all been waiting for!
Well, maybe not, but to celebrate the final instalment of the Harry Potter film franchise, I have attempted a triumphant return to the rather astonishing Korg Kaossilator. Fusing mainly a couple of Harry Potter themes with Muse's Hysteria, and throwing in a touch of wobble bass and glitch, this is a pleasant stroll in the electronic park.
I hope you like my first Kaossilator video for quite awhile. Hopefully more fresh material to follow next week. Thanks for your continuing support. John.

iPad controlling two synths (TouchOSC, Evolver & Nova)
YouTube Uploaded by RanKirlian on Jul 21, 2011
"For this experiment with my iPad I designed a basic layout for TouchOSC to help me control 2 synths at same time. To do that, I create a keyboard and 2 XYpads on the layout. The keyboard points to channel 1 (the novation nova) while the touchpads goes to channel 2 (DSI Evolver).
Using a Camera Connector I can drive coreMIDI to a midi interface with USB. The one I'm using here is an ESI Miditerminal M4U, that gives me 4x4 midi ports and 1 USB port. By doing this, the Miditerminal get both midi signals and power thru the USB from the iPad, and let me send midi signals thru different ports. The last step is to configure on each synth which midi channel will they receive, so there I had to set channel 1 on the Nova and 2 on the Evolver. Try yourself and enjoy!"
