"This is the Octave Plateau Voyetra 8. Purchased a few years ago, serviced and overhauled completely by Peter Lanzilotta at Doubletake Sound, this incredible synth has lived in it's studio rack ever since. According to Peter, who is recognized in the synthesizer world as the Voyetra 8 Guru, when all the oscillators pass the autotune mode, you are in great shape. This is the case with this remarkable synth. "

The auction mentions it was analog. I thought they were digital and a mix of sample based and the very start of their virtual analog technology that made it's way to the Nord Lead but I could be wrong. If anyone knows feel free to comment. The Nord Lead was the first virtual analog synth. The Korg Prophecy soon followed and added Physical Modelling of natural instruments. I believe the Yamaha VL1 came next. The second generation included virtual analog synths by Access (Virus), Novation (Supernova), Roland (JP-8000), and Yamaha (AN1X).
