"The Boss Doctor Rhythm DR-110 Graphic is a drum machine, produced by the Boss product division of the Japanese Roland Corporation in 1983.

Boss were better known for producing electric guitar accessories such as effects pedals, and the DR-110 is similarly small and lightweight in size (190×110×30mm, and only 450g), and like most Boss equipment, could be run from a 9V d.c. supply or batteries.

ARP AXXE VINTAGE ANALOG SYNTH

SN 23130572

"The ARP Axxe is a monophonic analog synthesizer created by ARP during the 1970s. The ARP Axxe has a single VCO (producing two different waveforms) that is passed through a basic low-pass filter and VCA. Modulation is rather inflexible, but can be applied to nearly every section of the synthesizer. Noteworthy is the addition of sample-and-hold and the ability to pass external audio through the filter (in the tradition of the Minimoo

Three versions of the Axxe were manufactured, the last two containing orange silkscreening and a slightly modified case. The difference in these later two versions was primarily the mounting of the keyboard. The earliest units of the original version lacked ARP’s innovative “Proportional Pitch Control” pads, but featured a copyright infringing version of a Moog filter that was later discontinued, though no actual lawsuit ever took place."

• Parameter default value button: pressing the parameter value label / button sets this parameter to a default value for a faster workflow (ex: DCO wave = Saw; VCF frequency = wide open; etc...)

Parameter Name and Value:
• Name (ex: Wave): as written on the Evolver control panel

[cubisteffects] CMOS Mini-Synthesizer for Sound Summit 2011

YouTube Uploaded by cubisteffects on Sep 12, 2011

"This is a video of the CMOS Mini-Synth I will be showing workshoppers how to make at Sound Summit 2011.
Sound Summit is a weekend festival that celebrates a wide range of innovative and independent music from Australia and beyond. It features talks, panels, lots of live shows and workshops, where the making of the mini-synth is one.
The mini-synth features a CMOS chip - an easy-to-find and cheap IC from most electronics suppliers. The mini-synth features dual square wave oscillators with a pulse LFO to modulate the blended output. The result is a droning, gating, harmonic bass synth that sounds a lot bigger than it looks.
The workshop is suited for beginners and will go through basic electronics and skills, hopefully with all attending leaving with a drone monster. For a higher quality audio clip, go to http://soundcloud.com/cubisteffects/cubisteffects-cmos-mini
